Founded in 1981, Glory to God serves the automotive repair and new tire needs of customers in Hillsdale, Jonesville, and Reading, MI, as well as surrounding areas. Glory to God has been located in Hillsdale, MI for the last 40 years as an auto and light truck repair center and tire dealer, and we have been located on 146 Lewis St. since 2006.

Glory to God was great! I took my car in to get it looked at for a weird noise and they fit me in the immediate next day, changed my oil for me, fixed the noise, and got it back to me by the time I left work. I would definitely recommend them to a friend! They were great, got our vehicle in the next day and they fixed it up right.

I went in for an oil change, and it was done quickly. Was glad to see it done since I was waiting for it in the lobby. Well I needed to replace my tie rods, quoted at an astonishing $650, thankfully I can take care of that outside of the shop. Got them fixed with better parts for $200, labor included.
Went to a fella to get them replaced and while checking underneath and all, turns out I needed another oil change after about 1500 miles. Which is half the usual time.

I have to say that I am disappointed in my recent service at Glory to God. About a week ago, one of the front brake lines broke on my truck, a 2003 GMC Sonoma. I made arrangements with Glory to God to have both front brake lines replaced. I was informed on Tuesday that the truck was completed and I could come and get it. And so I did. The price for the work was $269.08, which I thought was quite reasonable for what I thought had been done.
However, after I got it home, I realized that the short front driver’s side line had been replaced completely while the passenger side line simply had a short

I had to get my car looked at for a screeching sound in one of the back tires before I left for my trip before Thanksgiving. I thought it just needed new brake pads. I called different places, but they were all booked till the following week when I would be gone. So in desperation, I called "Glory to God" and they were available to schedule me in for an appointment. I brought my car in and they took a look at it and said that I needed new brakes and pads. They said it would cost a little over $300.

Went to get a recharge on my AC. Find out my condenser might be bad so they say they have to order one... okay dandy. Then I get charged $90! To be told it was to “diagnose”. Weird that my receipt is saying an A/C system charge but I was told they also removed the Freon when they found a leak. So why am I being charged for a recharge when I didn’t get one?!? What a joke! I will not be coming back!!!

I had an amazing experience today. I brought my car in that has not been running well-I admitted to them that I had tried to fix the problem myself and got a “diagnosis” from another place, but lost confidence quickly. Nick checked over my car, found the problem and fixed it immediately. The kind woman behind the counter (didn’t get her name :/) gave me a discount for being a brand new customer and to make up for my bad experience at a different place-they went way above and beyond and I’m so grateful-Thank you!

I'd like to preface this with the fact that I have a natural suspicion of auto repair businesses and generally like dealing with the whole process as much as getting a tooth filled. That said, I have taken more than one vehicle to GTG and have been very happy with the entire experience- polite and attentive staff, quick work, and reasonable pricing.
However, I think what is most telling, and the reason I'm writing this review, is that when I returned my vehicle to have an issue checked (that may or may not have been related to previous work), there was no finger pointing, no excuses
