The technicians were (professional) but after a test drive and a few discussions checked under my hood I felt like $83 was kind of a high for a service fee, and a quote of 2,500 for transmission rebuilt was a bit high considering the vehicle wasn't even worth 2500
ended up getting service for 600.00 at another local dealer..

This is a veteran owned business and not only did the owner serve his country but he is a top notch guy who is honest, reliable and will shoot you straight.
I’m in the process of buy a used truck and needed someone I trust to look it over to make sure it’s a solid truck and that I’m not buying a lemon or a truck that will be a money pit.
His prices are hard to beat purely based on the service, reliability and honest work he provides.

Although it was my first visit, it wasn’t difficult to see, the competition doesn’t come close to the trustworthy and personable service. Having been to many of the chain automotive service shops, I most appreciated that no attempt was made to sell me additional services my car didn’t need. In addition, I didn’t wait hours for my service to be completed.
Dave was very helpful, answered all questions thoroughly, and gained a new regular customer. I will be recommending them to friends and family.

The service here is impressive, I brought them 2 of my work vehicles on 2 different days during the same week for a transmission service and had both vehicles back in record time by my standards, dropped one off late in the day and has it back the next morning. I will doing all my business with these guys.

I had my Chrysler 300 towed here at the end of business day so the following morning Dave calls me to get my info says they are taking my car for a test drive and he will call back to let me know what’s wrong with it. 8 hours later I call him.. he says how busy he is and tells me my right rear wheel abs sensor needs to be replaced. So I ask how much it is and he says he will call me back so I wait another hour and a half and I call him back. I then got a response about how they have been busy all day with customers…. I am a customer and he would call me back. So I wait another 30 minutes and

I hear good things about this place. But I couldn't get a price to diagnose, fix, rebuild, or replace a manual transmission in a 15 wrangler. Just kept saying they cant give a cost if he doesn't know what is wrong with it?? Isn't that what a repair shop is supposed to do, charge you a fee to diagnose the issue. Then give a cost to fix or replace based on what they find? They would not even give a cost to just 100% rebuild the transmission with new. Not a ballpark, best case, worst case, total replacement or rebuild cost estimate. Disappointed to say the least in the level of the effort. Sounds

Had a 5K transmission put into a delivery truck just over 3 years ago. Only 8 - 10K miles on the truck in those 3 years Just found out there are internal issues with the transmission. Shoddy work Clay County Transmission! It will catch up with you in the long run.
I get normal wear and tear but we are talking a max 10K miles on this transmission. All that was offered was a preferred customer price to inspect it, lol .... yea no thanks!

The owner is RUDE and has terrible customer service. He does not seem to care if he gets your business or not. This is not the experience I have had in the past and I have been a customer of this shop for years. Now that this business is under new ownership, I will be taking my vehicle to Sun Tire. I looked at all the reviews on here and google for this location, take notice that all the positive reviews are written when this company was under previous ownership. That means something!
