Alpine Smog & Auto Repair

Service ok but was overcharged for service. When pointed out that I was over charge, there was no discussion of refund of over charge. As a repeat customer I was offended and will not come back. Recommend for current and possible new customers leave now or don't use service or you willl be overcharged too. Also, there is no pass or not pay policy.

This place is not easy to see from the street. If not for the flags & banner at roadside I'd never have found it!
The technician who assisted me was courteous and quite efficient.
He also made good recommendations which was helpful.
They also have a coupon offer available on SmogTips.com so check that site out before you head over for a smog check.

I went on the web site for a smog test plus it said pass or don't pay, will it failed to pass smog. I paid $61.75 and the retest is $40.00 + 8.25 for certificate the full amount would be $110.00. the problem I have is he didn't let anybody know that on the web site the retest for cars older then 2000 must pay again. When i called him about this he said he would check on this matter, this is called false advertising he can.t make the rules as he go I think i should get a free retest and just pay for the cert. $8.25. I can remove this review if i choose to.

Quick and easy service. Great place to get your car smogged. A bit hard to find it, but worth the effort. Thank you.

He was dishonest with me, bait and switch... wasted my time. When I called and described my car he said he would do a "pass or don't pay" type smog for $65. When I brought my car there, he didn't want to do a pass or don't pay. First he said the car was too old, when I told him that I called and told him it was a 97, he said ok let me see the paper work. He then came up with other excuses as to why he didn't want to do it, so I left.

Beware of this place. This was the worst experience ever! It advertisers pass or don't pay on its website. This is a blatant lie and false advertisement. The worker was aggressive and a male chauvinist. Ladies especially be aware! We ended up having to call the police.I emailed the owner as well with no response. This will end up in Small Claims Court. Just thought you should all know

Easily one of the best places I've ever gone to get a smog the owner is very nice. Service is very prompt and the prices are even more reasonable I took my Tiffin motorcoach there to get smog I was in an hour and 45 minutes.

No hassle, very fast! Went for smog, less than 20 mins in and out. Very nice gentleman greeting.

This shop is garbage, doesn't take coupons changes prices everything that's in writing is a bunch of BS. Go anywhere else this guy is a shyster

Came in with my car and asked for a smog. I told him I had a coupon for a free retest if it fails, so he goes out to my car and looks under the hood and come in and says it won't pass. He didn't even run it. So I called back after I left because I needed the actual fail for the DMV to given me temporary tags. The guy refused to give it to me because he didn't run it. He wasn't about to run it and lose out on money if it failed. So I had to take it somewhere else to get a fail for new tags. What a scammer.

Brought in my Chrysler 300 for what I thought was an injector issue.
Which turned out not to be. Danny was friendly and explained what the issue may be. Great service with a smile. Will be a returning customer.

This shop is honest. Got greeted by the owner danny which made me feel as a customer , as a had the most worst experience of my life with the last smog shop I went to. This man has deals too, dont be fooled by going to other shops this is your One Stop Shop period.

This is my second time here
The first time I came for a smog check. My job was done fast. He also fixed my lights. I didn't get charged an arm and a leg.This time I'm here for an oil change. I called and they took my car right away when I arrived.

Rented a 15' uhaul truck and 2 dollies from this smog shop. Was moving from lakeside and wanted something local to help move with. They have diff options available for dollies and trucks. Only a few though. I would recommend booking early if you are using for the weekend bc since they have limited options I assume they are mostly booked. Had no issues when I arrived due to me booking it online which was much easier. The guy there has his daughter working at the counter. She was knowledgeable on what I needed and helped the process run smooth.

Was able to return the uhaul at another location
