Services
Dr. Christa Young graduated from Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and worked in emergency and general practice in Indiana until moving to the Kissimmee area in 2010. She has been caring for dogs, cats, small reptiles, and pocket pets in Lakeland and Kissimmee since moving to Florida. She is excited to offer her surgical and medical skills in serving the pets and pet parents of her community.

Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Christa Young, who is a licensed, experienced Kissimmee veterinarian. Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. I took my dog Leia to Bellalago Veterinary Hospital and chose a vet plan for her thinking that it was convenient because it’s close. She had spay surgery as recommended by her vet. Unfortunately, because they did not do the procedure properly, my dog was bleeding to the point she almost passed away. Keep in mind that my dog does not have any bleeding disorders. The attempted to charge me hundreds of dollars for an intensive recovery due to their mistake. I took her again recently for a follow up visit and they told me the benefits of her vet plan would not be covered on her visit because she

Nothing against the ladies in the front however it just seems the manager “jim” knows nothing about customer service or even a bit of decency. It’s nothing about the animals. He only cares about money, overcharging patients being highly manipulative in their time of needs. I used to recommend this place for my dog, but after they were overcharging for something I couldn’t even see for myself bc they only spoke to my on the phone (which they could’ve been lying) and the horrors they have done to other people’s dog, I don’t know how anyone else can return to this place. Nothing but problems. Couldn’t get an appointment for 3weeks. After seeing the Dr. my dog got injured (yelping and whining every step)and was told they couldn’t see him for a week. This is the worst veterinarian I’ve ever been to. STAY AWAY !!! This Vet doesn’t care about your pet, just your money.
I’ve had pets my entire life, and have never been made to wait for what could be an emergency visit.

Staff misspelled my name, and 3/4 of my emergency contacts. Staff alerted me they could perform a service - cat nail caps, but upon arrival alerted me I needed to have brought the nail caps with me. The staff checked the voice records of the call to confirm that they didn't tell me I needed to bring them, and alerted me they were in the wrong (but in a way where it made it seem like they thought I was) The staff did not ask if I wanted to cancel the appointment, and continued to treat my animal. This place only cares about money. If you decide to cancel a “plan” which was never used for a year. They will charge you for the services that were never done!!!! They charge you when the payment wasn’t process and also for the delay…we are on a situation that not everyone can afford. I have decided to not have the “pet plan” anymore and they didn’t let me. They threatened me to charge me for the services not provided. I have been a customer since they open but not anymore! Go to other vets! You will find other locations way cheaper and more professionals! Other thing…the administration

I brought my pet Rosie for a pregnancy check today. It was our first time coming here. The staff was extremely polite and informative. Rosie and I were both pleased with the service and Rosie enjoyed meeting all the staff members. We were pleased to learn that Rosie will be expecting 4 pups and are looking forward to coming back once they have arrived for their puppy visit.

So I brought my 5 week old puppy in today because she was refusing to eat last night and this morning. I left work and rushed my puppy to this place 12 min away on the phone crying telling them that my puppy… was barely breathing and was gray. When they came out to get her 5 min later they had a lady come with paper and a credit card scanner tells me I can pay 500 deposit or 129 for the visit. I asked can you please be honest with me is there any hope for her that she could come back from this her response was let me go check and comes back and says she is responding and wining and barking

Everything, they were amazing to is...
Today my son had to put down his sweet Pici. She was his best friend for MANY years. She was always under his feet and never let him get too far away. She was his little cuddle bug, always snuggled under his covers—it was her favorite place to be.
It was too fast and no one expected she would get so sick and… we would have to say goodbye so soon. Losing a fur baby is as hard as losing a child. When you have had so many years together, there’s definitely a whole in your heart when they leave you. I’m proud of my son, he had to do it

I recently started taking my dog to this office. So far everything has been great. Due to the pandemic they have curbside service. They keep you informed every step of the appointment. I have had 2 visits and each time my experience went smoothly. All of the people I have interacted with were pleasant. They have an app where you can stay connected… with and message the office via text. I have used it and they are always quick to reply. When I was concerned about my dog they followed up with me a few days later just to check in on her. I am very pleased and recommend anyone with a pet in

The best team out there!!!! such a friendly and caring staff!! We bring all 3 of our fur babies there, and since day one they have treated us like we were special! Whenever we bring just one dog they will always ask about the others. When we call for anything they always asked out I was feeling during my pregnancy, and now they ask about the baby! Absolutely recommend this vet to everyone!
