Acupuncture is a complete system of medicine based on principles that have been used in the Orient for the last 4000 years. It works with the natural energies inherent within all living things, to promote the body's ability to heal itself.
Services
In the middle of the bustle of the city lies a paradise nestled in the shadow mountain shopping center overlooking Tulsa at 61st and Sheridan. The Path to Wellness Urban Spa. Warm steam baths permeate the air with eucalyptus and soothing hot rock therapies are combined with professional body treatments and skin care service in a unique Japanese and European style.
If you're a chronic sufferer, Acupuncture For Neck Pain can provide an excellent alternative to complement your medical treatments. Acupuncture is a well-known component of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). TCM has been practiced for thousands of years and includes the use of herbal medicines and mind-body practices.
Back pain (especially lower back pain) is a common chronic pain issue. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese physical therapy that has become a popular and well-researched method for managing this pain. Acupuncture is a traditional therapy based on the idea of energetics in the body. Treatment consists of inserting needles at various pressure points on the body and through the skin.
Acupuncture is a branch of the tree of traditional Chinese medicine, with a rich history and lineage dating back thousands of years. Acupuncturists use fine needles in pressure points in various parts of the body, inserting hair-thin needles into the body to promote pain-relieving effects by reducing inflammation, relaxing the body, and increasing blood flow.
Western (allopathic) medicine tends to rely on relieving the uncomfortable symptoms of allergy sufferers with the use of medications. While this approach may provide temporary relief, there are often unpleasant or even intolerable side effects. Practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine believe that the best way to control allergies is to address their causes by treating the whole person and balancing the immune system.

This place is a true hidden gem. Spa services by professionals who care about your long term health. Personally, I like Theresa, who holds a Doctor of Oriental medicine (OMD). She received training in herbal remedies along with acupuncture. So, feel free to find your path to wellness here.

Path to wellness is the PERFECT place to come.
I had a car accident, and nothing was helping for the pain. Until I started coming to Teresa. She has HEALING hands. She cares for me, she always ask what specific part of my body hurts. She always takes her time on giving me therapy and treatment on my body.
I'm so GRATEFUL and THANKFUL to have her as my Therapist.
Her massages and acupuncture are the BEST!!!🙏🙏🙏

The moment I walked in the door, I was in heaven. From the relaxing and calming scents, sounds and laid back atmosphere. To the variety of teas to help yourself to and a steam room to make you feel comfortable and ready to relax and enjoy. Love this place. Thank you Carolyn for an amazing massage. I can't wait to go back.
If you need a vacation but can't leave Tulsa, check this place out, you'll feel like you've stepped into another world.

I've had 3 massages with them in the last 6 months.

All 3 were good quality massages. Two different staff but both good. At The Path, they are really dedicated to what they do. They are not a fancy spa, but you get masseuses that believe in what they do and are passionate.

You can do a steam before your spa and then shower. Followed by the massage (or other services like acupuncture). You can steam afterwards.

They've done this a long time and have a style that they like. It might not be for everyone but it's better than most in Tulsa or surrounding area.

I love going to the Path. I love the way I feel after a good acupuncture session. The two main therapists have different styles, so that might play into a person's experience there, but they are both very skilled and experienced.

This place is earthy- DONT expect a plush salon- but that in no way diminishes the services they offer.

This was the worst massage I have ever received. I redeemed my massage through a Groupon I purchased and did not do enough research on the spa. A Path to Wellness was advertised as "a resort-like spa and health center aimed at whole-body rejuvenation". I would have to disagree with this statement.

The spa itself was located behind an Enterprise car rental and looked desolate from the outside. I did not want to judge a book by its cover so I reserved my opinion until after my massage was over. When I entered the spa, there were two large dogs in the waiting area, which were apparently

This is one of the best massages I have ever had and I've had many. The therapist paid attention to the messages my body was sending. I had some severe pain around my pelvis and at the base of my skull. She spent time on both of those. If I ever go back to Tulsa, I would consider going here again.
