Services
With our convenient location in Asheville, NC, we are proud to care for children from Asheville and the local communities of Buncombe and Henderson Counties, as well as the surrounding states of South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. We even have families fly from as far away as Florida, Alaska, and Spain just to visit our office!
I always knew I wanted to work in the dental field through the wonderful influence of my aunt, who is a dental hygienist. I love children, which motivated me to pursue a career in pediatric dentistry. In my free time I enjoy going on hikes, admiring sunrises and sunsets, church activities, and spending precious time with my family.
I'm Dr. Jackson and am happy to introduce myself. I'm a North Carolinian, born and raised. My entire family went to NC State University, and so did I, majoring in microbiology, where I was valedictorian. From there I was fortunate to go Harvard (HSDM) for dental school, where I was second in my class.
We are so excited to be the first dental provider in our area to offer you the most advanced dental technology available to restore teeth without numbing! Solea CO2 dental laser enables us to do virtually all fillings and crowns without numbing, as well as the best soft tissue procedures with little to no bleeding.
All children should have preventative care appointments, including an exam, cleaning, fluoride treatment and if needed, x-rays. Doing this twice a year is recommended, although some children who are at a higher risk for cavities may need to come every three months to stay healthy. At these visits, our doctor can monitor any changes in your child's oral health and diet and be able to make recommendations for any treatment needs.

Asheville Pediatric Dentistry was a lifesaver for us. After having a bad experience at another dentist we came to Asheville pediatric to seek another opinion. The experiences were like night and day. I could not be happier with our experience. Brought my 6 year old in for a consult and it went so well. The hygienist was incredibly patient and kind and Dr. Jackson took so much time to talk with both of us and made my daughter feel so comfortable. Office was beyond clean and the rainforest decor gives kids a lot to look at and enjoy. We would recommend this office to anyone!

Dr. Jackson is an absolute SAINT- both of my boys love the dentist because of their positive, uplifting interactions with her. She takes her time with each & every patient, she is so kind & caring. My daughter had a not so stellar experience at another dentist so we came here for a second opinion. This experience was terrific. Everyone was kind and friendly. My daughter even said going to the dentist was the best part of her day. If your looking for someone to treat your child as their own, look no further. My boys (5 y/o & 8 y/o) have been coming to Dr. Jackson's practice since they were 3. They LOVE going to the dentist and look forward to it as soon as I tell them we'll be going. From the kid's movies, to the prizes, to the t-shirts, it's all about the kids and they feel the love. All of the staff are amazing from the front desk to the hygienists and the assistants. Dr. Jackson, and now Dr. Sayre, are professional, patient, and kind - making everybody feel comfortable during the visit.
