Susan was born in Berkeley, CA but has called the Washington home since she was 12 years old. She graduated from Rogers High School and soon after attended Highline Community College. Susan and her husband have lived in the same home since 1986 where they raised their two children. She has developed so many friendships and bonds through that time and enjoys seeing everyone smile.
Parkland Smile Dental is located at 320 138th St., Unit S in Tacoma, WA, close to Pacific Lutheran University. We are on the corner of 138th St. and C St. in a blue standalone office with plenty of free parking. Dr. Andrew Lee is a native of Washington State and was raised in Tacoma, WA. He earned both his bachelor's and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Washington.

I had to change my old dentist of 20 years due to dental insurance issues. My husband suggested his dentist, Dr. Lee at Smile Dental. My first appt was thorough and exceptional. Dr. Lee discovered many issues and presented me with a realistic treatment plan. I wish I had found him sooner. He and his staff are the bomb! Professional, efficient and gentle.

I am a veteran who was referred to smile dental through the TRICARE Delta dental program for community care. This is a beautiful practice it’s calm and peaceful, it kind of reminds me of walking into a spa. I have never been to a dental practice that was calming and relaxing. They provide excellent dental care, highly recommend to anyone. Very polite, friendly and really good communicating to the patients on what procedures they would be performing. Good to talk with, and yes even have a great sense of humor. The staff makes you feel comfortable and they are not rushed, willing to take there time making sure the patient is relaxed and at ease. Overall, Dr. Lee and his staff make sure you leave with a great smile.

We recently moved and then I suffered a chipped crown. They were able to get me in pretty quickly and I ended up having to have a root canal. But it was a breeze. They have such a friendly staff and Dr. Lee explained everything so clearly and put my anxiety at ease. I took my daughter there today for a cleaning and she also had a great experience.

I would, and do, recommend Parkland Smile Dental to everyone! It’s very hard to come by a good Dentist that you can trust, and I feel so relieved that I have finally. I have been to a couple different Dentists lately due to insurance changes and I was very unhappy with how it had went at my previous offices- I had been in pain for months, I felt… like I wasn’t genuinely cared for, and I wasn’t happy with the work that was done.
