I have been going to Lake Success Dental for several years now, but had to change dentists due to incompetence on the part of Dr. Nourmand that has caused me a lot of pain and distress. She is not a good dentist, due to both her work failing to hold up even one year, and her failure to correctly diagnose what was going on with a tooth that appeared fine on x-rays but obviously had serious problems. I switched dentists, and the new one recognized what was going on right away and sent me to an endodontist to take care of it. And on top of the incompetence, there was the issue of the practice dropping

All I could say is amazing they actually make you wanna go to the dentist the staff and overall experience is flawless.

Save yourself the time and book your appointment somewhere else. I will not be going back due to the following reasons:
1. The office did not handle covid protocols very well (mind you this was back in March). I was in the waiting room with 4 other people and there were people walking in and out of the office to check-in and stuff.
2. The dental hygienist did a TERRIBLE job with my cleaning. In my experience with my previous hygienist (I will be going back to her even though it is quite a commute for me), I never walk away with any stains on my teeth. But this time around, this hygienist was

Went for invisilign consult, waited over an hour. They scheduled me same day, which I appreciate, but not if I wait over an hour. I just left without seeing the dentist. It's a bad first step for taking on a new patient, and ruined my day

The best dental experience I have ever had!! My wife and I have been going every three months for cleanings for three years!! We are obsessed!! We always recommend them for dental care and we always recommend Jamie for cleanings! Best Dental Hygienist I have ever had! Dr.Minhas is great and very personable and a real pleasure to have as my Dentist!! We are moving late July/ early August... and soo sad to be leaving them! They have been a godsend for our teeth! Highly recommend!!!

Dr. Minhas has great bedside manners. Super friendly and knowledgeable. And definitely reassuring in regards to my concerns. The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was super nice and did a great job as well. Overall very happy about making the switch to this practice.

I’ve had 1 Dentist only for the past 30yrs, until recently when he passed. For the past 5yrs, I’ve been in and out of Dentist offices because I have not found one that is comforting, one that listens and is sympathetic to my fear of pain. Dr. Minhas is all of that. I love that she explains exactly what she will be doing before she begins. She has a gentle hand, soothing disposition, and I am at ease in her office. I highly recommend her.

This place is a rip off. They tried to take advantage of my elderly mother by over charging for a procedure that I later found out was covered by her insurance. I do not recommend this place to anybody.

I'm writing this review because this dentists office deserves some recognition. Ive had sooo much work done over the years and most recently two root canals. My husband, who is extremely afraid of the dentist stopped going when he was about 15 and one morning at the age of 30 woke up crying in pain and needed an emergency root canal. I googled and found this office takes same day appointments ( which is unusual to be that accommodating ). As someone who has not been to the dentist in a while due to fear I would HIGHLY recommend coming to this office! The reception staff as well as the dental assistants, hygienists & Dr. Nourmand are extremely welcoming as well as kind and gentle. They make sure you feel comfortable and calm before starting any procedure and tell you exactly what they are going to do before they do it! Thank you Lake Success Dental Care for taking my fear of dentists away.

If u want your teeth don't go there Oriental guy does dental work in Rikers Island prison I was told...my face swelled up the next day like a balloon nightmare the fat receptionists are rude screw that place

Dr. Winter is a people person. I have been going to him for years. He is someone who puts patients at ease. His staff is very pleasant and efficient - always willing to help and answer questions. Never had to wait to be seen. He is an excellent doctor - very thorough and caring. He took the time to explain every procedure he was doing. I needed to move out-of-state in the middle of a treatment and not only did he find and recommend a dentist, but even called me and my future dentist several times. I would highly recommend Dr. Winter!

Very dissapointed, there seems to be a huge disconnect between their online scheduleing and their ACTUAL schedule. Their is a huge lack of communication with keeping patients updated on their upcoming appointments. I recieve emails CONSTANTLY even during the pandemic to schedule online and showed up to find out I had NO appointment. I gave them a second shot, now that we are in Phase 1. I scheuled my kids, my husband shows up and only one child can be seen at a time. Very unprofessional and sad because their clinical staff is actually very competent but I cannot say the same for their office staff

I don't even know where to begin. I really don't even want to give them one star thaTs how bad of an experience I've had. EDITH she's a financial coordinator and the way she spoke to me was so rude thaT I never in my life heard a person who answer the phone at tHe front desk talk to anYone. She threaten me one which I have on a recording she got up clapping her hands ready to fight. She also said said she me let me move from her clapping her hands before it get worse for you (talking to me). She's very loud and very unprofessional. I have no issue with Anyone in that facility

Let me start by saying that I am the biggest chicken when it comes to the dentist. I haven't gone in almost 3 years because of my fear. Well I was finally in pain and needed to go.
I found this office based on reviews by people who had the same insurance as I do.
I got the nerve up to call and even from the first phone call, the receptionist was so kind and understanding of my fear and assured me that the hygienist and the dentist that would be working with me were super gentle.

My first appointment here was for pain I was experiencing. I saw Dr. Harrison and he was great! Explained everything very well and gave me options. He was very thorough and gentle. The staff at the office were all very friendly and approachable.

Five stars and a dentist's office sounds like an oxymoron, a contradiction, a paradox. It's like jumbo shrimp or a garbage dump that smells sweet. These things just don't make sense or don't happen...and yet, there's an exception to every rule. In this case, Lake Success Dental Care in New Hyde Park 100% fits that idea.

Okay, maybe I just have a very melodramatic history with dentists. I didn't go to one for a length of time I'd rather not discuss just due to never having a legitimate dentist I trusted or felt wouldn't yell

Dr. Harrison is excellent. I had a cavity and he fixed it without any pain! He's a perfectionist. He's compassionate and allayed my fears. It was such a pleasant experience. Highly recommended for all aspects of dentistry needs.

This was my first time going to Lake Sucess dental, and I have to let everyone know every person I met with was fantastic. From the front desk, to x-rays, cleaning, doctor and checking out was fantastic. Everyone made me feel real comfortable and eased my anxiety of going to the dentist. I have horrible teeth, and the cleaning was fantastic, and I have more work to get done but know I am in good hands.

From the moment I called to make an appointment to the moment I left everything was perfect. No one likes the Denist but they made it some what good where I wouldn't mind going to my follow ups and keep up with my teeth now. This is my Denist ! I will not be changing her at all. I got there fairly early only waited about 5 mins went in mrs shardona took my X-rays she was awesome. Then the hygienist came in Amy and she was a very pleasant as well. All the doctors and staff are wonderful. Modern state of the art office with digital X-rays. Convenient hours before work after work and weekends. Insurance friendly office. Highly recommend.

The staff here is WONDERFUL, highly skilled and knowledgable about modern dentistry. I feel very confident in the doctors care and have happily referred many friends over the years. Thank you for keeping me smiling!!
