This restaurant is very unprofessional, I made an oder and I pacifically told them I don’t eat cheese due to I can’t eat nothing dary. When I get my oder and found out as I’m eating that it has cheese on it. I called them back and explain to them my situation. She stated that she can’t do nothing about it. So I just wasted my money. In buying this nasty food made me throw up. I wouldn’t buy from this place ever again they don’t know how to treat there customers if it’s not one of there kind !!

I ordered from here a quesadilla and a Jamaica last night. The food and Jamaica was good but I saw that one of the sour creams had some water on the top but I used it on my quesadilla and kept eating. Later I had stomach pain the whole night and kept going to the bathroom until 2 in the morning. I called today asking for a refund and about the situation, the lady was nice and said if I could call back in half an hour since that’s when the manager would arrive. So I called later and when I spoke to someone she kept “saying hello? Bueno? I can’t hear you.” I haven’t even said anything and

Awesome food but do wish they were a bit more attentive. Had their seafood soup and tacos. Definitely give them a try.

Alright ; so let's get this straight . You come to this place for the food . This place is as authentic as it gets ; it's a hole in the wall spot family owned with delicious Mexican cuisine . I been here many times , and the consistency is excellent . Again - this is not a fancy place ; you don't come here for the service , or for the fancy atmosphere - you come here for the authentic Mexican food . Very satisfied each and every time I have been here and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious authentic Mexican food .

I went back to this place after a couple of years, I've been her so many times and it was always exquisite experience, but this time around, well, I was disappointed. The taste and season it just isn't the same. This is what I think: If youin the food service / Restaurant industry and you happen to have a good line cook, or chef, or a great sous chef or whatever you wanna call it, if you have someone in the kitchen that has a "magnifique assaisonnement" or a a great seasoning then do everything you can to keep him or her because the success of your business may vary well depend on it.

This place is my favorite. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this one I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very cordial and the cooking they place on your table is so good. I never decline to have a nice meal here. Highly recommended.

Authentic Mexican food not made by el gringo. The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I will be honest the place is not necessarily inviting and the decor is not the best but the food makes up for it. It is a bit dark inside but once again the authentic dishes make up for it. These folks have been here like forever. They have been great in the community so I support them. Bottom line if you are willing to go to a food truck or get gringo Mexican food, then do yourself a favor and visit these folks. In addition you don't want to eat in you can order take out.

Best Mexican authentic food we have found in Fairfield county. Best part, they deliver! If you don't like Karaoke, loud singers or Mexican soaps, don't eat in, just have it delivered. Regarding the bad reviews on this site, I imagine it's hard to find an authentic Mexican food place where everyone speaks perfect English. This place did have issues in the past, but now they go to lengths to get a fluent English speaker on the phone. We used to have an issue here and there with the language barrier, but the owner,Maria, gave me her cell number and says to call her directly. She even

Delicious, authentic Mexican food for an affordable price! My favorite thing to get is the taco salad with chicken. You get a huge taco bowl filled with plentiful helpings of meat, avocado, cucumber, radish and cheese.
Helps if you speak Spanish, because most of the staff do not speak English but you can get your point across by pointing at things on the menu.
Great atmosphere, and live music on the weekends during dinner.

This reveiw is a real shame to write.... This restaraunt's food is AMAZING 5 stars for their food.....
Sadly the woman they have answering the phone and taking orders is STUPID she consistently messes up orders..... Tonight was the last straw for me I called to request my order (that I paid for).... Be corrected I was not only refused but BLAMED apparently it's my fault that she didn't understand me when I told her 3 TIMES "No Picante" (Spicy sauce they put on their cemitas). She was told 3 times but it was my fault she still didn't understand.....

I loved this place until they screwed up my order and the two ladies on the counter really didn't want to help me. Horrible customer service on their part. I will never eat here again.

I've been back a bunch of times and the food is consistently good. Not sure why I didn't give them a higher rating to begin with. I love it here.

I have been here twice for lunch.

Although the food is reasonably priced and the portions generous, it is bland and tasteless. I ordered a steak burrito (dinner), and my friend ordered a chicken burrito. Both looked ok at best, but tasted like nothing. The chips were good, but the salsa was watery.

Service was non-existent, and we were forced to go to the counter to get our bill after waiting patiently for about twenty minutes. Oh, and the staff speaks no English, which was o.k. for me because my Spanish is passable.

I might try them again, but I am not optimistic. There are far better

Imagine yourself walking into someones house, who insists on decorating with paper mache, tinfoil and tinsel. Every 8 minutes a random spanish song emitts out of the jukebox at top volume, effectively preventing you from hearing the spanish soap on the TV.
Then the food comes and all the short comings of the atmosphere are forgiven. Saying that portions are generous is an understatement. Prices are reasonable, food is fresh and the service is always very friendly.

Love the food, but my ears are still ringing from the singer and his music. The staff says there is only entertainment on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, so I recommend La Poblanita as a weekday restaurant!

The carnitas are delicious.

The first time I went to this place may have been 15 years ago so it's been there a long time. Located on the first floor of what looks to me like a two family house.

They have great Mexican food and the place has an authentic Mexican atmosphere. Weekends are especially lively and the wait staff are friendly and helpful. Among other Mexican favorites they have Huarache, which is basically a thick oblong tortilla filled and topped with your choice of toppings, very similar to Sopes if you've had them. A wonderful place to have a great Mexican meal.

Authentic Mexican, I eat lunch here at least 4 times a month. I always have their famous Chimichanga con arroz y frijoles with a Bohemia beer.
The waitresses are always super nice and professional.
A friend from work said this the best Mexican in CT. It's definitely the best in the Bridgeport metro area.
