What do you want? It’s all-you-can-eat sushi. It’s reasonably priced. It’s served without pretension or delay. You grab the pen stolen from some other place. It made it here somehow. Just like you. Scribble down a number next to a sushi roll. Which one? Who cares. They all taste the same, and that’s a good thing. Just don’t miss out on the fried Oreo. It’s not Japanese, but neither are you. Eat. Be happy. Shut up. Come again.

Came here for AYCE SUSHI with 6 people. Ordered sashimi, sushi, and rolls..... we didn't receive even half of the items we ordered. Asked the waitresses 4 times, all told us to wait because they are making our food....then after 20 minutes, told us to order again. So we did, still didn't receive the food we ordered and gave us the ayce sheets again to order what we were missing... after 2 hours of waiting for the same food we were waiting for, we were told that it was NOT available. The food we did receive was good but wasting time waiting for the food we never received, and going home

So far this is my favorite sushi spot in CT. I recently moved from NY and have been on a hunt for good food around here. Pricing is great and food was good. The veggie dumpling was very good. Noodles were OK. But the Sushi was good. By far the best I have had between Here and Bridgeport- if you know better at these prices..lmk

Coming from a New Yorker, this sushi is pretty darn solid... for the price. Generally, in New York there is your "neighborhood sushi spot" that is cheap (as far as sushi goes) which can be bad to decent but generally never higher than decent; and then there are the Omakase/high-end spots with not a lot in between (broad strokes). I would put Kama in the high end of the neighborhood sushi spots. My entire review should again be predicated on the $25/person AYCE price tag - this isn't Jiro Dreams of Sushi but then again it doesn't cost nearly that much so it can't really

The quality is not there anymore. The sushi rice does not even taste like rice vinegar was added. The fish is not in the right temperature. The rolls are uneven in sizes. The service is still superb, friendly staff. I hope they go back to the same quality as before . In the summer months Not sure if they have AC, the Room was a little too warm to eat comfortably. Not sure if We want to Go back. About $50 to $60 with tip for two people, its Not cheap.

Think truck stop or convenience store quality food.. sad..
We went with a few friends. They said it was good. It's a small place. And they food prep/kitchen area is tiny. Too small to be able to put out good food and in a timely manner.
The rice wasn't good sticky rice and fell apart very easily, there wants much fish in any of the rolls. The crab was obviously fake and tasted it. Gross.
The fish we did get wasn't fresh.
Not sure how this place stays open. The service was slow, rude, and not attentive at all.
Its expensive for food and service you could get in a mall or truck stop quality

This use to be one of my best sushi places in CT and now has to be the worst. I would no longer come here and would never recommend this place in Stratford CT. They raised the prices too high and they put less fish in the sushi. Also after complaining about the lack lack of eel/fish and it was all cucumber strips. They made no attempt to rectify my complaint. This is NOT the place to come. My regret I did not take a picture.

Tried to have dinner here tonight and was turned away due to them being behind on orders. Usually dont have any issues here but this is frustrating since they are still open for another hour and a half. Will keep that in mind next time to call before heading to the restaurant to make sure they are still taking customers before wasting my time and going there to be turned away.

Nice little spot. It was our first visit. The rolls were really good. They only reason they aren't getting 5 stars from me is due to the service. Our waiter never once came over to check on us. The employees were all mostly by the sushi bar chatting it up. Other than that, food was good. Distance measures were in place and they were sanitizing in between customers

I give three stars because the sushi and rolls we received were great, but they WERE NOT what we ordered. And this happened THREE TIMES! The young servers were far more concerned with the tables that housed their high school/college? friends than with the rest of the patrons. Additionally, the whole operation was more concerned with the takeout/delivery orders. Good thing the sushi was yummy or my sons' 21st birthday would have been a bust!

Anyone who knows Kama Sushi knows it's the best sushi in town🔥 Absolutely great and the service is always exceptional, especially since COVID-19. My favorite rolls are the Sakura roll and Butterfly roll. They have all you can eat as well as a regular menu. If you're a sushi fan, this restaurant is a must!

I'm going to reserve most of my comments and keep it brief. What does anyone really expect from an all you can eat sushi place ?
First time I've ever been to an all you can eat sushi. Happy that I had less than an hour to eat due to them closing for the night.
Pleasant staff. Got me going right away. Miso soup was good. The rest of the food followed rather quickly. Quicker than I thought it would take. Quick service. Staff stayed out of your way while you ate but came over as soon as you popped your head up looking for something.
Rice was meh... No slamming here. Dimly lit place

Currently sitting in the resturant waiting 30minutes for some chicken and dumplings Been here for over a hour now and it has been an entertaining experience. I had plastic and fish scales in my food. They also don't steam shumai or gyoza (every other place does). They also don't make spicy shrimp rolls and when I asked if they could just cut up shrimp and put it in a roll they said "we dont do that". UPDATE WE JUST GOT OUR DUMPLING - 35 minutes later. I don't even know how to react. We wont be back.

Decided to take the family to AYCE sushi... actually we wanted to order a la carte but changed our minds and went all in.
This is how it works. They give you two forms with items to pick from, and you pick what you want and what you can eat. You want more? Well order some more, and some more, and some more... all you can eat remember?
The food is great, and it gets pretty packed so you know that it's not only my opinion.

Where I live, every sushi bar offers AYCE, and just about all of it is great. If Kama Sushi were in Reno it wouldn't measure up, but I will say it is not without its merits, hence the 3-Star rating. That said, this is one where I wish we could do 2.5, mainly because I just didn't find the quality of the fish or cooked dishes to be that great.
I'm a sushi purist and prefer nigiri, so that's where I started. Overall, the pieces of nigiri were HUGE. Way bigger than they needed to be, and the rice to fish ratio here is off, meaning there's a large rice ball beneath a relatively

My friend and I were on our way back home from a lobster-filled weekend in Rhode Island and decided to stop for sushi on our route. Yelp pulled up Kama as the nearest sushi place, so we stopped in.
We fully took advantage of the AYCE offer, and it's pretty straight forward. Nothing over the top, but good enough to fill your belly. The fish seemed perfectly acceptable to me and I did not encounter anything that would off-set the experience.
