These guys are very professional, efficient and knowledgeable. They get the job done. Prices are reasonable. My defrost function stopped working and they took care of it. They took care of trans issues i had in the past. Totally satisfied everytime. I will not go anywhere else

I dont go to any other place for my car. I swear the guys that work here know what they're talking about and are honest and efficient.
Was told by a dealership I needed to spend thousands on a part to which I got a second opinion (because I didn't have the money). Took it by Murphys and they told me it was a simple fix, literally took less than 10 minutes. Always reliable.

I gave these guys 5 stars on my other reviews because I believe they deserve it. I took my car and my son's for various reasons . It is nice that they are multitalented! One stop shopping! I believe they are comparably fair in their pricing. No up-selling or BS . They figure out what's wrong with your vehicle and fix it. They are professional and efficient. Your brother's 2nd cousin's, son's friend can probably offer a better deal. But.... are you confident in their skills? Go here, get it done by someone who does it everyday and feel secure when you drive away. They seem like good neighborhood

I had a brake repair done on my van. Pricing was fair and the work was completed on time. I also bought a used car from them when my other car's repairs were more than the car was worth. No issues with the new car. Overall, this was a good experience with honest people. I really appreciate it! They are also part of the local Chamber and care about the community.

By far best mechanic in La Grange/Brookfield area. Always fair price, and they truly try to accommodate your schedule/time. My power steering went out on a Sunday. Sent email through their website Sunday night saying I wanted to drop car off early tomorrow/Monday. Received email from Mike @ 7am Monday to bring it in. Car was fixed that day. Also had new tires put on. Tired of waiting for 40 min standing in line then waiting for hours sitting at discount tire In Countryside? I was, so I decided to let Murphy's do my tires and can I just say they know how to balance tires better than Discount

They told me to order my own part, when I told them it was back order, no problem they told me no problem they would put in back. We had been communicating on my home.phone, I told them not to call my cell. I only check my cell 2 or 3 times a week, witch what told them. I got a text only 1 text they had my car towed, who does that to a customer that had used them many times before. Here's the best part , Murphy lost my keys. When I got to tow yard and called Murphy they denied having my keys. I left them in their care here's the best part. I was called a. C U NEXT TUESDAY not once but

Also Chris has excellent customer relation skills and also is a excellent mechanic. Crooks at firestone tried telling me I had to replace all my tires. I took my flat to Murphys and they fixed it for a great price. I have like 2 more stories just like this about murphys. They're busy people so don't expect to get a 20 minute convo over the phone. Listen to me and just take your car here

Cant say enough good things about Murphy's!!! Driving home from work at 7:30 pm and hear something dragging from my car. Drove past Murphy's, at about 8:00, that is when they close. Chris came out got down on the ground wirh a flashlight and told me the problem... told me to leave the car and he would fix it first thing in the morning!!! Offered me a ride home. This place is the best. Fixed the problem and also let me know my rear brakes were just about gone. Repaired everything in a few hours... This is my 4th or 5th time at Murphy's!!! Will continue to take my car there for any

AMAZING!! You could hear my car rattling down the block, it was so embarrassingly loud and worrisome, but Chris knew what was wrong as soon as he heard/saw. Took 10 minutes to fix it at barely any cost! It's hard for me to find a mechanic I can trust but Ive finally found a shop where I can rest easy knowing I'm in good hands!

Don't bother with this place. RUDE and in my case, overcharged. My original quoted price included an AC evacuation, but I said that had nothing to do with a transmission cable replacement and the guy said it would be removed on the final bill. It never was and i pointed it out and he wasn't sure at first and then said "im sure he took it out". Bullocks to that I say. It's unfortunate that the bill was extremely high and they still would not take out for something they did not do. The guy had a smug attitude. I knew he wouldn't do anything about the bill, so

Murphy's came highly recommended by a friend of mine who has been a loyal customer of theirs for years. So when we were experiencing issues with our minivan, I decided to take it in for a second opinion after our regular mechanic failed to properly diagnose the problem.
