What is a DUI? A DUI which stands for Driving Under the Influence is when a drivers blood alcohol content is 0.08 grams of alcohol in 100 milliliters of blood or greater. Pursuant to C.R.S. 42-4-1301 it is a misdemeanor for any person who is under the influence of alcohol or one more drugs or a combination of alcohol and one or more drugs, to drive any vehicle in this state.
