I love being in nature, staying active, and knitting when I have some rare downtime. I got my business degree from Belmont University, but what I really enjoy is photography, which is why you're here! I absolutely adore working with newborns, but I also photograph bellies, babies, kids, and families.
I'm a wife and the mother of a free-spirited little girl and boy. They get that from me : We live just outside of Spring Hill and Thompson Station with our 3 dogs and 2 cats. Some people say we're out in the country, but I think we could be farther. I like the peace and quiet. Incredibly talented, creative and versatile.

We moved to Nashville about a year ago and needed a new family photographer. I came across June Star Photography and was so happy I did. Heather did an amazing job with the kids (we have three small ones 6,4 & 2) and spent a ton of time making sure we had enough good pictures. Her editing skills are also amazing and we were really happy with the final product. Will definitely be using her for all of our future family photos.

Heather took photos of our newborn twins. She came to our home, and made the experience as stress free as possible. We wanted to incorporate our dog into the pictures, and she was open to our ideas. She was able to capture all of the poses we requested. Our babies are only little for a short period of time, and we are so happy we chose Heather to capture the precious newborn phase. Highly recommend.

Heather was a joy to work with. Her process and the entire session was stress free. She was great working with our son (even when he got a little cranky). Her work speaks for itself - our photos turned out better than we could have hoped for. We had a great experience with Heather during our newborn session! She was easy to get in touch with, very personable, and has a well stocked studio. Perhaps, most importantly, she was great with our little and handled her with care. Our photos turned out great, and we couldn't be happier that we chose June Star Photography to capture some sweet moments with our little one:)

We had an excellent experience with Heather (June Star Photography) for our maternity and newborn photos. Our newborn was pretty hard to work with as she hated being posed but Heather had all kind of tricks up her sleeve to make her photos turn out so beautiful. She was very patient and kind! She had a ton of props to choose from too (headbands, maternity dresses, stuffed animals, blankets, etc). We are in love with all our pictures and will certainly be using Heather in the future.

Passionate, Professional, Patient, and Perfection are the perfect words that describe Heather: June Star Photography. Heather's work is absolutely incredible! Her talent used to create and capture the perfect poses was above and beyond any expectations that I had. Her patience with myself and my son blew me away considering I had to change two diapers and take time away to feed him during our session. I couldn't be more pleased with our newborn session experience with Heather at June Star Photography! When I decided to have pictures done at the last minute, Heather was wonderful about fitting us into her schedule so my daughter could be photographed within the appropriate timeline. Heather was so good with my daughter during the session, and made sure she got all the shots she needed. I received my photos last week, and they are so exceptionally beautiful. My baby will grow and change so much in these first months and years, so I will always treasure these pictures of her in her first few days

We fell in love with Heather's work when we began our search for a photographer to do a newborn session. Her work stood out from the many websites we came across. We are so very glad we enlisted her help to capture the precious moments of our little daughter's early days.
