Klaich Animal Hospital remains one of the oldest continually operating Reno veterinary hospitals. As a trusted Reno, Nevada veterinary clinic, many of our clients keep coming back for our animal care services.
At Klaich Animal Hospital, we offer a variety of services to provide optimal patient care for your pet. Our hospital is equipped with many innovative technologies like digital radiography, laser therapy, and in-house lab equipment. Our doctors and licensed staff stay up to date with continuing education to ensure your pet is getting the best care.
Please be aware that on certain days the demand for urgent care exams is high and we may need to stop seeing urgent care exams before our posted time. If you have an emergency after hospital hours, please contact Animal Emergency Center at (775) 851-3600 - open 24 hours. Or Sierra Veterinary Specialists at 358-8555 24 hour emergency service Wednesday - Saturday.
Keep up with the latest happenings at Klaich Animal Hospital and new animal care information. We realize things are changing daily and days can be hectic. Sometimes those changes can cause scheduling conflicts that may result in a canceled or missed scheduled appointment or procedure. When clients do not call to cancel an appointment, they may be preventing another patient from getting much-needed treatment.

I have been using this vet for years. All of their staff is helpful and skilled. Even when working with some of the special cases I have had over the years. This Christmas, one of their staff members Christy gifted my animals a handmade bed! The personal touch to the visit was so kind and the animals love it so much. I highly recommend this vet. 100/10

I have been a client of Klaich for over 10 years. I cant get a follow up appointment for a dog who was seen there in October this year. If you leave a message on their extensive phone message NO ONE calls you back!!! I'm finding a new vet. All they want to do is urgent care coz they probably make more money with less staff. Not my kind of vet!!! Moving on..... used to love them. No longer do!

Was charge $765 and sent home with two medications that did not work for my dog. Went back and forth for three weeks with the office manager Renee due to the additional $150 charge for a specialist to read the X-ray that already cost $200 for xray in the first place. When called I was never informed they would charge an additional $150 to have someone read it as they couldn't tell what the xray revealed. Spoke with the vet a second time who blatantly expressed she didn't mean to not disclose there would be a cost especially one this high - yet the office manager still would not refund me this cost

Well, woke up 2 our German Shepherd not breathing rite, Stayed up with her the rest of the night called the vet in the morning having to remove her collar so she could breathe her throat had swollen to almost twice its size, They got her in the next morning had her for the remainder of the day I picked her up that evening she actually was behaving normally And actually wagged her tail for the 1st time in days, turned out to be a soft pallet tear which infected her tonsils kept her from eating $945 later she is fine These folks were awesome very professional and took good care of her cannot say
