I can't tell you how much I agree with this statement! Too many people in this biz just click the shutter without connecting to their clients, which turns a photo shoot into a lifeless, boring exercise in tedium and results in cookie-cutter photos that all look alike. I like to get to know my subjects, not only on a professional level, but on a personal level as well.

Services
A basic package for anyone who needs an updated headshot for business or personal use, great for social media and dating websites. We'll pick out the best look from the clothes you bring and spend 20-30 minutes shooting either indoors or outside. For anyone who needs a new look for their LinkedIn page, social media, website, etc. We'll do two looks indoor and/or outdoor (weather permitting).
Below are some samples of the type of retouching I do. I try to keep things beautiful and natural - keeping to the mantra "you, only better". If there's one thing I hate it is too-white eyes/teeth and too smooth skin (ok, that was two things!). That all said, if you have an obvious scar, freckles or wrinkles - I will probably leave them *mostly* intact as I believe those things are beautiful and add character.

Sandy photographed our research group on site in our lab, greenhouses, and offices for use in social media and press releases.
