For years, I represented some of the largest businesses in the world in cases brought by consumers who had been taken advantage of. Now, I use that experience to enforce the employee rights of people who think they are powerless against these companies. My background as a big firm lawyer for large businesses means that I cannot be intimidated.

Rhode Island is an "at will" state, meaning that, if you don't have an employment contract, generally you can be fired for any reason or no reason at all. Most of these types of claims require completion of an administrative process and there are strict timelines and rules. It is difficult, if not impossible, to adequately represent yourself.

The initial decision can be reviewed by a Referee whose determination can be appealed to the Board of Review, then the District Court, and even the RI Supreme Court.

Sent two emails looking for advice, possible representation. Never heard anything back. My initial thought was perhaps the situation that I was researching was not something Mr. Enright covered in his practice. However after reading other reviews, I see that it is not uncommon for him to receive inquiries that he himself is not in the position to handle. It's clear he's helped other individuals out (by his reviews) in navigating their particular legal matter. Mr. Enright helped me with an employment issue with a former employer. He is diligent, friendly, and professional in every way. Tom was so helpful with my case. He always kept me updated and was very informative with every step of the way. He took my personal needs into consideration.
