Advanced is comprehensive wellness and health center located in Riverdale, New Jersey. Our 18 Newark Pompton Turnpike office is home to Advanced Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, Advanced Fitness and Wellness and the Kids' Therapy Center. Our clinic is dedicated to the health and wellbeing of Northern New Jersey patients, individuals, athletes and their families.
Our mission is to provide you with health and fitness treatment that goes beyond the possibilities of conventional medicine. Our many services are geared toward helping you thrive safely and naturally, with an eye to not just your symptoms, but the underlying condition and your body as a whole. Our gentle spinal corrections employ manual techniques to safely and accurately realign your spine.
We teach our patients special "blueprint" exercises designed just for them to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction by as much as 30-40%. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use.
Advanced Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy believes in the value of wellness care for you and your family and have maintained a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets. Our office participates in most insurance programs. We also accept auto accident and workers compensation cases. For patients who have little or no chiropractic insurance coverage, flexible payment programs can be arranged.

Excellent team of doctors that are able to use many techniques to treat a wide variety of issues and injuries. I’ve personally had several different conditions treated and have always felt well taken care of. I also love the fact that chiropractic/physical therapy and athletic/fitness training are all under one roof with one team that has great communication. Really helps customize training to account for injury history and specific needs.

I was here 20 years ago with
2 bulged disc's and one herniated disc. I was treated with compassion and understanding. I was good for 20 years. When I experienced pain recently I knew exactly where to go. Even though my insurance does not cover 100% it is totally worth paying more for the high quality and expertise treatment. Now I should be good for another 20 years.

The staff is knowledgeable and well versed on a variety of techniques and treatment strategies. I have been going there for a number of years for various issues. They always diagnose issues and design treatments that provide both immediate relief and long term resolution. The variety of doctors available allow them to treat you as a whole and they work collaboratively to treat your problem. They are all caring and I can’t say enough good about them!!❤️

Exceptional training, physical therapy, chiropractic and acupuncture. These staff members are knowledgeable, compassionate and motivating. A friendly environment that provides meticulous care and training. I have used all areas of Advanced and would highly recommend this facility. Even during Covid the facility was always safely operated and as always, immaculately clean. I am so happy and thankful to have found Advanced.
