Services
If you or a loved one have been charged with a criminal offense, it can feel like you have nowhere to turn. At DAVID W. LLOYD, P.C., we have been defending our clients for over 20 years. Don't try to handle a charge on your own, let us help! A criminal conviction can carry various penalties including jail for felony charges and repeat offenders.
If you've been charged with drug possession, sales or manufacturing, DAVID W. LLOYD, P.C. can explain your legal options, defend you in court and attempt to negotiate a plea agreement. We will ensure that everything is explained carefully and you are given the attention you deserve. Jail visits are available.
DAVID W. LLOYD, P.C. provides extensive support to those considering a step towards financial relief. We have over 20 years of experience helping clients get the support they need through bankruptcy. With bankruptcy, you (the debtor) ask the judge to grant you a discharge of your dischargeable debt in exchange for your providing all required information for the judge and trustee to evaluate.
The most common way debtors get involved in Chapter 13 is because the debtor has income above the median income level for the State of Missouri. There are also no extraordinary expenses to lower their funds available for unsecured creditors. The other way to get into a Chapter 13 is when you own a non-exempt asset (usually too much equity in your home - Missouri law only allows you $15,000 as exempt).
If you need a tough DWI or DUI defense, turn to DAVID W. LLOYD, P.C. As a Warrensburg and west central Missouri area DWI defense attorney, David can help you to protect yourself, your future and your driver's license. David served as an assistant state public defender for a year and a defense attorney in private practice for many years.
