We'll be looking for a new vet. When I first brought my cat in I made sure she was aware that he was a covid kitten and he wasn't okay with being handled. She ignored me- grabbed him and that resulted in her getting scratched. Her solution? Pay them 200$ for sedatives the next time he visits. I was already ticked off at this point but I just payed and left. Today I needed to get him in due to a swollen lip and we couldn't give him the sedatives because of the pain in his jaw. I had a great experience with my recent visit here. Called for an appointment and they managed to get my cat in within an hour. I brought in my newly adopted cat for wellness exam and flea treatment. The staff is very friendly and helpful, Dr. Mac is awesome, she’s informative and answered all my questions patiently. To my surprise, they offered me adoption promotion which is free on the exam, plus free revolution medicine, so I ended up only paying the revolution for my other cat. I’ll be taking my cats here from now on!

I gave this vet clinic a 2nd chance. Epic fail! The vet was rude and dismissive! Treated me like I was a bad pet owner! Refused treatment because my dog had anxiety and was scared to treat her. This is ridiculous, the other vets didn't have any issues with my dogs behavior. I had to by drugs to calm my dog before she would look at her. But I was charged an office visit. She didn't treat my dog. So now I have to reschedule! I'm taking my business elsewhere!

I was very impressed with every facet of the effort put forth during my visit. Dr Fraser was professional in every way and takes a serious interest in the well being and overall health of the animal she is examining. She is backed up by a knowledgeable team with a spirit of teamwork and high morale. They like their work and they are good at it. Make the trip to see this operation and you'll never go anywhere else!

The staff at Lancer’s Square take the time to listen, ask good questions and provide thorough explanations as well as giving gentle care to my animal companions. It’s obvious to me that they truly care about my cats. They are reasonably priced and you never have to sit in a crowded waiting room; they are always on time with their appointments. It’s been a great experience working with them to care for my sweet kitties.

I was very thankful that the team at Lancers Square Animal Clinic was able to get my cat in for an appointment ASAP since she suddenly started limping on her left rear leg. Dr. Reeves took X-rays which showed that she had a torn ligament in her left knee. She is an indoor almost 16 yr. old cat so we think she just jumped down from the sofa or her cat tree just right and tore one of the ligaments. She will have to be watched carefully to make sure she doesn't have access to jumping on or off anything for awhile. Dr. Reeves is a real pro and his team was very nice!

Y baby is a maltipoo going on 9 years and for the past 4 years he has suffered from a yeast infection in his ear and body. I went through multiple vets and spent hundreds of dollars in shampoos, medications and ear drops with it not working and having to return, for the last ear I did home remedie treatments that kept it under control but my baby still smelled like a bag of sour cream and onion chips. And the dishonesty of the receptionist is outrageous.
Worst of all is that they try to shame people into doing expensive and to much rather than what the pet needs.
I'll never cross their door again. Within a mile are vet clinics that are more reasonable.
And those vets aren't trying to shame people or make up things to guilt you into spending more.

Had such a positive experience with Lancers Square! I was cat-sitting my parent's cat, and he had an emergency. Lancers Square immediately fit us in and let me know the cost of everything before performing any procedures. All of the staff was extremely warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, and worked efficiently. I wish I had a vet this great close to me in nyc. Highly recommend to anyone in the DFW area!

We needed to check into a vet immediately as our cat was breathing through just her mouth. I was worried and didn't know if she had a cold or some disease had struck her. They responded by booking an appointment that day we called. We couldn't be more thankful and our cat got the treatment they needed. Turns out she had just a cold!

I live near Uptown, and I make the drive out to Plano if there's anything wrong with my cat because this clinic is THAT worth it. She's been in twice, and both times I was so thankful I took her there. Dr. Fraser is so smart, and clearly stays up to date on the best treatments. Dr. Reeves is amazing as well, and just finished taking care of my cat after she got sick. We weren't sure what exactly was wrong, but he took the time to rule out anything serious until she got well again. Surgery was a possibility, and another doctor may have advised it, but he made sure surgery was

Great clinic. Staff is so caring and professional. I felt comfortable leaving my pup there for surgery and they took great care of him. Dr. Fraser Matthews and Dr. Reeves are both very friendly and knowledgeable. They are patient with me (I know I can ask a lot of questions) and I feel comfortable calling the office any time. I have also been coming here since the mid 1980s. My long string of pets have seen both Dr. Reeves and Dr. Fraser and I trust them both completely. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They keep a very good schedule and I know that I won't have to wait for more than 5-10 minutes to be seen when I arrive. Not only are the quality of care and visit experience top notch, but they are also very cost effective. Dr. Lee Reeves is an outstanding veterinarian: thoroughly knowledgeable and compassionate, with vast experience. We have trusted our cats to his care since the mid-1980s, including some diseases and conditions requiring surgery and complex management. I do a lot of research on medical issues as they arise, and the more I learn, the more I trust Dr. Reeves' expertise and judgment. He provides the best possible care at a reasonable price. Been going to this vet for 9 yrs. and have never had an issue. They've all went above and beyond at making you feel welcome and taking excellent care of our family pets. Very happy with them. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a caring vet for your family pets. Not many (if any) places call and check on your pet when they've been ill and Lancer Square Animal Clinic has personal touches that many vets do not have or take the time to do.
