Here is what some of our graduates have to say about attending our 600-hour Massage Therapy Certification Program. Being a military spouse, it is of the utmost importance that my education is portable and transferable given our frequent moves.

I chose Hawaii Healing Arts College because it is both licensed in Hawaii and Certified by the National Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, allowing my education to be recognized when we have to relocate. The MyCAA Scholarship for military spouses was of great help when it came to financial assistance and budgeting for the program.
Hawaii Healing Arts College and Massage Professionals incorporates a competency-based training approach which is built on actual career expectations and applications. We include performance activities as early in the program as possible, and require students to think and perform as professional massage therapists.
Hawaii Healing Arts College is pleased to offer qualified prospective students a Work Assistance Program. Students considered for this program must meet the Entrance Requirements outlined in the catalog, and submit their application form and fee along with completion of a personal interview.

Students accepted into the Work Assistance Program are eligible to receive tuition assistance of up to $4,000 in exchange for completing additional intern massages. The type of class the student wishes to enroll in, Intensive or Part-Time determines the amount of assistance given. There are a limited number of students per class eligible for the Work Assistance Program.

Had a massage and it was honestly not very good. Had an "Advanced" Intern for $50 plus tip. He did have a mask and face shield so kind of like a blond darth vader. Did not seem confident and honestly creeped me out and kept talking and asking me questions during the massage and kind of breathing heavily, so hard to relax. He seemed nervous. Not sure how he was advanced. I would go back but maybe try an actual professional. Disappointing.

First off I would give zero stars if I could. Before going here my boyfriend and I called to make an appointment. We had a gift certificate from Christmas we wanted to use. The receptionist told us we would have to pay an extra $20.95. And although hesitant we agreed. My boyfriend and I go in and they give him and dont ask if he prefers male or female they automatically give him a male (again we just go with the flow trying not to judge even though he already felt uncomfortable) the male therapist tells my boyfriend he prefers that he keep his clothes on. Again my boyfriend goes with the flow.

I've called the administrative office of this school for information and I had a negative experience towards the end.
I was intending to become a massage therapists after over 900 hours of education in the mainland and was hoping to find answers to becoming licensed in the state of Hawaii. The woman I called sounded very reluctant to help me and schedule to call back on a Sunday, 4 days in advance from my first call. She never gave me a call back and I tried calling back with no answer.
The next day, she had an excuse about overwhelm by workload and taking over other student's client. She is

I am reviewing the massage I received there by Rachel Lahey, rather than the college itself.
The massage overall was nice but I was very disappointed because I specifically chose Rachel because her description said she will "address specific areas of tension/pain."
I kindly asked her twice (once before and once during the massage) to focus on my lower left lumbar spine and she seemed to make a point to spend less time there than literally anywhere else on my body. I have a very serious issue and spent over 140 dollars to get it addressed and was boarder-line insulted by her unwillingness to do

I graduated in 2011, and I must say I wouldn't be the Massage Therapist I am today, both mentally and physically, without the amazing teachers and Ceus that were provided. They truly care about their students during internships, and really prepare them for the real world. I absolutely love the clinic, so much that I worked there after I graduated… as a LMT and receptionist for almost 2 years. Now I own my own business called Welcome Back Massage in NJ which is located within a Strength and Conditioning facility for Athletes. It's a great feeling to have my clients tell me the energy they

Peaceful and clean environment. The students are well trained: knowledgeable in techniques, professional, and friendly. They appreciate your input on how they're doing. All my massages have been wonderful. I strongly recommend a 2 hour massage. Give the students a generous tip; they deserve it!

Serene, fabulous, beautiful place and amazing massage therapists as well as fun and friendly staff and receptionists which is just as important. I have gotten massages for many years all over the world, this place is at the top of my list and I'll be going back regularly. The therapist really paid attention and gave a massage fit for me with detail to my neck and back which were bad. She was an intern but gave a top notch professional massage.

I am writing this review for the defense of our Admissions Manager. I am the owner of Hawaii Healing Arts College. Our Admissions Manager is one of the most loving and caring individuals I have employed at this school. It is very unfortunate and sad to hear about your complaints. However, this is a PRIVATE MASSAGE SCHOOL which has nothing to do with a massage therapist licensing of the State of Hawaii. Your complaints and argument are totally pointless. You are calling a WRONG PLACE. You should have done your own thorough research before calling many times to inquire about the

If you're looking for firm pressure without the pain, lots of deep, complete massage strokes, and skillful hands to find and work out those knots, make an appointment with Samantha Wong. You will not regret it! I've been doing massage for 8 years and drive from Hawaii Kai once a month to see her.

Hubby wanted a massage for his birthday. I decided I could afford one for myself with an intern while he was with a licensed therapist.

Great spa-like atmosphere when we walked in. Everyone was very friendly. Massage was in a very nice private room. Lots of nice local touches - soft Hawaiian music, Hawaiian-print top sheet (for draping), temperature was comfortable. My intern therapist was very nice and did a good job working out the knots in my back, shoulders and neck. She spent the entire hour - unlike some places where you only get 50 minutes or so. For $35 (intern rate) I will definitely

THIS PLACE IS LINKED WITH HAWAII HEALING ARTS COLLEGE SO IF YOU WANT MORE POSITIVE REVIEWS, CHECK THERE TOO!

My boyfriend and I come here every week, guaranteed! The place is the best deal in town.

Everything here is clean, professional, and relaxing. It's THE perfect environment for a massage. Plus, at $30/hour how can you go wrong?

We have had a massage on all the different levels they offer: Licensed Massage Therapist, Advanced Interns, and Regular Interns. All were awesome and we always leave totally stress-free and happy.

While I do have my faveorites (Kai or John for interns

So F***ing dissapointed!! This place has a great atmosphere, private rooms, relaxing music and so on. The massage that I got, that was from a licensed massage therapist I might add, was the worst massage I have ever had! I thought she was a student and it was only going to cost $30 so I was really nice and understanding when she asked me how she was doing. I mean, maybe I was her first client ever! UH...NO!! I was her millionth! I am pissed that I spent $60 for oil being rubbed on my back with no pressure, and an hour of my LICENSED massage therapists' stomach making grumble noises directly

Got my first lomi lomi massage and I loved it! Aubrey did a great job at getting out all the stress and tension in my neck and shoulders where I asked her to concentrate, and I was nearly sleeping like a baby by the end of it - ahhhh.... The pressure was perfect. I like a bit of pressure to where I feel a little pain, but not too much ;-p She also does very good medium pressure too if you like it soft.

The facilities and rooms are also nice, clean and relaxing with aromatherapy scents and heated massage beds. Also, I like that they are very cleanly there. They pump the massage oil out

Best massages on Oahu. All LMTs are great! They have great hours, a nice facility and there's also a school on the premises so you can get massages from interns at half the cost of an LMT. Intern massages are hit and miss, but if you find a good one it'll save you a TON of money!
