Akemi graduated from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine of Santa Monica, California in 2006 with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. While attending the Emperor's College, she completed her internship at Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center at University of California Los Angeles campus providing acupuncture services to its students and faculty members.

A prescription from a medical doctor is required for massage therapy and/or acupuncture to be covered. We have more than 20 massage practitioners and an acupuncturists. Right after your injury, massage therapy can help you recover by helping to restore balance to your autonomic nervous system. I recently visited after several months being busy at work & was able to use a gift certificate. Mahea was my licensed therapist. She asked what my areas of concern were & did a phenomenal job of easing the tension in my neck, shoulders & back.
Easy booking process either online via their website or quick phone call. Great hours of operation, I can make it there in the evening after work. Easy to find, right off the main road in Keolu/Enchanted Lakes (Next to The Shack, Kailua). Ample parking lot.
Inside is such a cute Kailua/Ocean-themed decor vibe. I love it! Staff is pleasant

To start, finding a massage therapist to fit your personal needs is sometimes a coin toss, everyone is different. However, I STRUCK GOLD! Jordan is professional, attentive, asks questions of problem areas before each session, does an incredible combination of deep tissue and stretching, both of which I heavily need. While I go in there knowing I need their expertise, somehow she finds places I didn't know were in need of attention. I always leave there feeling relaxed and like a brand new human. Highly recommend not only Jordan, but the business as a whole!

Great Locally Owned Buissness with affordable and quality massages! The environment created is a beach vibe theme very peaceful, relaxing, and clean. Every time I got a massage from a licensed therapist or intern it was amazing and walked away feeling better and thinking "that was worth it, and I needed it." The Therapist Nori brings in are all well trained and the Massage therapist her school produces are amazing and know how to feel through massage instead of feeling like they are just doing a taught routine.

Cute little shop tucked in the corner of Enchanted Lakes, Kailua. Lots of free parking with an easy in and out drive way. Very relaxing and peaceful ambiance. Sabrina came highly recommended and she lived up to it! Before our session started she briefly went over the services they offered. This being my 1st massage I was open to her suggestion. Went in with a lot of pain and came out with a new body. Will be making this a monthly splurge.

I had such a relaxing massage today with Loisi. This was my first time going to Nori Kohana, and it's such a hidden gem in Enchanted Lakes. It's a very clean and calming atmosphere. Loisi was so nice and we talked about areas that I needed help with and she spent extra time on what we talked about. She was very attentive and very communicative. By the end my body was so relaxed, I didn't want to move. It was a great experience. Definitely recommend.

I was in about a week ago and had a massage with intern Cierra. It was a GREAT massage. She asked me all the right questions and got my knots out that had been killing me all week. They only charge $19/1hr for a massage with a beginning intern. It's a little hidden in the corner of the building across from the shack. The only downside is the walls are a little thin and the temperature was a little cold for getting a massage.

Nori is one of the most intuitive and talented massage therapists I have ever come across. It is a wonderful gift that she is teaching our future masseuses her personally refined methods, which are geared to help put the therapist in touch with the body and facilitate the processes of healing and relaxation. I was going to be in Kailua and had 5 hours to kill. My normal Masseuse was booked, so I went on Yelp and found Nori's place. She was very nice on the phone and said they had appointments open! I booked a 12:30pm appt and had some time to shop around.

****UPDATE: The business owner, Noriko has the nerve to debate with me about the POOR service I experienced at her establishment. Noriko direct messaged me apologizing and admitting, then turning argumentative. I reported her to Yelp. Still, she responds to my review with erroneous statements! I also find it absurd that Noriko is trying to convince me that I am confusing her and her business with another. She is absolutely ridiculous!!!
