Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet. Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen. As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
We know that pets come in all shapes and sizes, so we are happy to treat exotic pets. In addition to cats and dogs, we also treat animals like birds, reptiles, and pocket pets like hamsters and guinea pigs. Our Katy team is highly trained and educated when it comes to caring for exotic pets, so you can rest assured that your pet is in good hands.

My "Samson buddy" passed away and now in Heaven with no pain now. This Vet office took such great care of him over the years just tremendous care that I am so thankful for. He was a very special dog. This Doberman was not only my protector but my Therapeutic dog. Just a magnificent animal. Thank you to all the people who cared for him. We will see him again one day.

Dr. Hokanson and Rene, her vet tech, were wonderful! They both spent so much time with us and really made an effort to build trust with both me and my dog, who is skittish. Maybe it was just the day I went, but I can't believe I hardly had to wait to be seen, either. Fast, efficient, friendly front desk receptionist, for both check in and payment. Their fee was extremely reasonable and they have an online pharmacy which will make getting Rxs for my dogs much easier. So happy to have found this clinic!

I’m leaving feedback on my recent visit. My fur baby Sleepy who is a doggo was struggling with an ear infection and yeast, I brought him in and everyone was really genuine and nice, the staff was very patient and caring.
They took care of him with so much kindness, compassion and professionalism that if I could leave 10 stars I would! They did an ear flush on him and got him on medication, there was immediate improvement on the very first day. This has been a chronic issue with him but appears to be going really well with their treatment.
EVERYONE WAS AMAZING.. kind, caring, compassionate,

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the vet and staff at this clinic. I came here to get a second opinion for my 18.5 year old whiskers. They took great care of her. And unfortunately, she had a blot clot and lost use of her hind legs on august 7. They fit us into their schedule that Saturday and she crossed over the rainbow bridge. Very… caring and compassionate. Not overpriced. Spends time with your pet and you. Answers questions. Follows up. If I ever have another pet I will be bringing them here from now on. Thank you for all you did for Whiskers. We think of her everyday

We have been taking our three dogs to Mason Road Veterinary Clinic for years. Hadn't been in a while due to the pandemic. Called on Friday - our yorkie mix was extremely ill. Had been throwing up and not eating for several days. Was told they were booked and could fit us in first thing Monday morning. My husband tried everything to be able to… bring her in but they said no. Our dog got worse and we called Sealy Animal Hospital and they said to bring her right in. Ended up she had kidney failure and we had to make the decision to let her go to the Rainbow Bridge. Broke my heart. Shame on

After a 13 year run full of love both given and received our beloved family member and for life four legged companion Debo was ready to no longer live in discomfort from normal large dog health and physical complications and was ready to join the rest of the world's Great Four Legged Family Protectors/Guardians. Since he did such a great and honorable job at being a protector of the children and family, a shoulder to cry on when times were rough, as a listener, and so much more but most of all completely lived up to being referred to as "Man's Best Friend ", the family and I decided we needed to

Excellent vet and staff. My pet was treated better than my doctor treats me! In all the years I’ve owned this cat and the various vets I’ve seen, none of the others took time to reassure & calm her. And no one ever got her to purr during an exam before! I wholeheartedly recommend Mason Road Veterinary Clinic

So patient and caring! The entire staff is amazing. We switched when adding guineas and a bearded dragon to the family with a dog. We've been through a lot in the short time I've been seeing them but AMAZING all the way around and very supportive and informative. I very much appreciate the bedside manner they have as well.

We switched a few months ago because they were the only vet allowing owners inside with pets, and it has been the silver lining to this crazy year! So far they’ve diagnosed a thyroid problem that our old vet missed for 3 years, have done twice as many blood tests for literally half the cost, put up with my overprotective anxious dog with no… manners, and respected us when we said our dogs did not like males and switched to a woman without pushing the issue. By far the best part is their online pharmacy, we travel for my husbands work and our old vet would not ship us flea/tick meds

Wonderful place. When my cat came home with a broken foot I was afraid she’d have to have it amputated. Dr. Hokanson set it and took good care of it and gave her pain meds as well as a check up. The rest of the friendly staff put my mind at ease and my cat is back to being playful and happy. I would recommend them to anyone.
