I have had four real estate transactions with Kate Bransfield and am extremely pleased with her performance. Two of the transactions were for houses (buying and selling) and the other two were for selling apartment buildings. In every case Kate was really engaged and on top of everything from start to close of escrow. I should point out that Kate has a very capable and supportive staff who work very closely with her and they are also very much engaged.

Kate came highly recommended from a friend of ours and we are very happy we took that advice. We knew this was the right decision after our first meeting where she made us feel welcome during the start of our first home buying experience. Kate spent extra time talking things through and could not have been more accommodating.

My search for a real estate agent started and ended with Kate. I had met her through the Santa Monica Conservancy and new of her keen interest in Santa Monica, it's history and architecture. I was looking for a home with "character", move-in ready, and within a specific price range. It took about 2 weeks and 2 house visits to find what I was looking for. There is not another agent who could have done a finer job—soup to nuts—with the sale of our Santa Monica condo than Kate.
My wife and I met with Kate early on as we were debating whether it made sense to rent or list. Work was moving us to DC and we were on the fence. Kate walked us carefully through our options, drawing upon her obvious expertise and knowledge of the Westside. She has the area diagnosed to a science. But she did so as a friend, never once did she push us toward listing, even though renting wouldn’t be in her personal interest. If that conversation didn’t convince us

She is kind, has a warm heart , will take care of your needs until the end. I had been working with her since I had decided to sell my home close to 12th/Montana since Oct/2016 , and since my home went on the market(open house in December/2017) the home was sold in 2 weeks and a half.
I storongly recommend Kate, if either you are selling home, or looking for around Montana Avenue!!!!

For years I talked about selling my condo in Santa Monica, but it was only talk, for familiar reasons: anxiety about the unknown, and fear of the process itself. Now that I’ve taken the plunge, the unknown has taken care of itself by becoming known, and an adventure. What took me by surprise, though, was the ease of the process. For that I thank Kate, who took charge of everything from start to finish and made it a downright pleasure. She’s a pro in the best, most congenial sense of the word, and I can’t recommend her highly enough.

When I decided to put my Santa Monica condo on the market I was very nervous about the process. Working with Kate has been the best experience. Kate Bransfield knows Santa Monica and Santa Monicans know her! Even my 9 year old daughter knew her before meeting her.
