The name "PacRim, " short for "Pacific Rim, " carries a profound connotation of our company. Both founders have deep roots in Asia and the U.S. It was fitting for them to visualize their business ambition in bridging across the Pacific Rim and around the globe.

PacRim provides Capital Improvement Programs (CIP) Management to a wide range of public agencies. Our staff is experienced in grant applications, project programming, resource planning, project initiation, consultant management, and preparation of staff reports. PacRim's funding application experience includes Metro Call for Projects, Federal Highway Bridge Program (HBP) applications, and more.
The company's original logo was designed by the founders of PacRim Engineering. The logo is based on a Chinese chop block-a seal-with the letter P and R written in Asian Calligraphy, representing "Pac" and "Rim"-an abbreviation for Pacific Rim. However, those with knowledge of Chinese characters will observe the Chinese word for human being can be seen; additionally, this being, or character, is holding a bow and arrow.
PacRim's experience with working on military airfield projects enabled us to expand our service offerings to the general aviation market. We now have direct working experience with over 7 major civilian airports and military airfields on a wide range of project types.
Notably, PacRim worked on the LAX new Midfield Satellite Concourse Terminal and Delta Terminal expansion projects as we delivered the underground utilities, power, and communication duct banks.We are proud to serve Los Angeles World Airports, Ontario International Airport Authority, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Marine Corps.
