Dr. Terry Brockman opened Richland Animal Clinic in west Nashville in 1989. She began an interest in alternative veterinary medicine and in 1992 she became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist to perform pet acupuncture services. She and the rest of our staff look forward to caring for your pets to help them live their longest, healthiest, happiest lives with you.

Although we handle the majority of your pet's medical and surgical needs in-house, we occasionally refer patients to veterinary specialists or specialty clinics when advanced training or equipment will be beneficial.

My dog has been seeing Dr. Brockman for acupuncture and laser treatments after her back surgery for a couple of years now. The staff and Dr. Brockman are the best! They truly care for their patients and are very knowledgeable. It is a pleasure to take my pet here for the specific care that she needs.

I've taken my pets to Dr. Knox at Richland for years now and have always been amazed by the level of care they provide. The staff is always friendly and they've gone out of their way to accommodate me when there's an emergency. I feel like they added a year to the life of my last dog, which meant the world to me. Would highly recommend them!

Richland always takes the BEST care of my little dog! Their staff is extremely thorough & kind ~ and they pay attention to the smallest of details as if your pet were their own. I moved across town & will gladly drive the distance to their offices ~ for my little fur-baby to get the best care ~ which Richland Animal Clinic ALWAYS delivers!!!

I have been bringing my fur babies to Richland Animal Clinic for many years now and fully intend to stay loyal to their services. Not only were they able to accurate help me diagnose my previous cat with asthma, helping me find ways to treat him and increase his quality of life, but they took great care in supporting me and offering condolences when he came to the end of his time with me. There is not a single staff member that I wouldn’t trust with the care of my precious little ones.

The absolute best—I wouldn’t take my pup anywhere else. During complications with a routine procedure, Dr Mueller & the Richland staff went above & beyond. Had it not been for their diligence and dedication, we might have lost our young heeler mix. Can not recommend them enough, they have a client for life.
