As a Federal Government Contractor, you have a very unique set of needs. In addition to specific performance obligations under your contract, you must also fully understand-and comply with-over 2,000 pages of specialized requirements identified in the FAR. Non-compliance can result in serious sanctions, penalties, suspension of payments, termination of the contract, and/or ineligibility to receive future government contracts.
Are you a contractor requiring a new accounting system that will require assessment for adequacy by the DCAA (Defense Contract Audit Agency)?. If so, we will establish a chart of accounts to segregate direct costs from indirect costs, set up a labor distribution system for you to track time and create accounts for expenses deemed unallowable per FAR 31.205.
Our team of experienced industry professionals will read the terms of the RFQ (Request for Quotation) before beginning to formulate the Cost Proposal. Then our team will help you calculate your indirect cost rates, prepare the cost proposal, advise you on the profit or fee and assist you in negotiating the contract.
If you receive notification that you are being audited by the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), our team of prior DCAA Auditors and Government Contract Accountants have the extensive knowledge and experience needed to successfully guide your audit. Our team will perform complete audit representation or simply work behind the scenes while you are being audited.
