Services
Ellen is the founder and director of Fertility Counseling Center, Inc. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 30 years of clinical experience working in the mental health field. Her specialization and focus in the field of assisted reproduction for the past 25+ years began with her own personal struggles with infertility.
In today's world, families are created in numerous ways. For many, this means an inclusion of outsiders, actively assisting Intended Parents to achieve their dream. This might include traveling to Southern California, and trusting those from a different country and culture to assist them.
With some of us having personally experienced infertility, the mental health professionals at FCCI truly understand every step in this process, and the ultimate, priceless joy parents' feel holding their child in their arms for the first time.Our goal is to make this journey as smooth as possible for all involved.

With experienced gestational carriers as part of the FCCI team, our professionals know the intense satisfaction and joy felt by a gestational carrier after a successful surrogacy! We also know the immeasurable joy Intended Parents feel holding their child for the very first time. Review of all materials submitted in the surrogate application and referral information, if supplied by the referral source.
FCCI provides counseling in a group setting for individuals, partners and couples struggling with fertility issues or seeking third party assistance. Whether you are single, married, heterosexual or LGBTQ, meeting with others who are living with similar life challenges allows you to share your experiences, gain insight and connect with others.
Individuals and/or couples contact FCCI seeking assistance in achieving healthy relationships and a better quality of life. Or, they are facing a major life transition. FCCI's orientation is short-term counseling and problem solving provided with respect and compassion. Empowered with the knowledge you have prioritized what is important and learned effective communication and other social skills to achieve your goals.
