They are the best, doctors and all the stuff.

My dog is 16 years old... that means I have taken him to many many Veterinarians in his life time. This is hands down the best place I have ever been to. Extremely clean... it doesn't have ANY animal order... the staff Yoandy was the sweetest vet nurse I have ever Experienced and Dr. Martin the absolute best! I highly recommend this place! The BEST vet I have ever been to! Thank you!

Very Very Very grateful that this vet office is only a few blocks to my house. They are quick, efficient, tech savvy, and always willing to take a look at your pet. I had a 14 year old cat who got very sick, we suspected pancreatitis - Dr. Rivas gave me a few meds as well as a few cans off Rx Digestive food and within the month she was just about back to her normal self. I honestly can't say enough about their practice. While they handle likely a majority of pet owners in the Mid-town, possibly downtown, and soon to be Wynwood area, they always find time to make time to see your pet if your concerns

Deserves 10 stars! I’m so thankful to have brought my cat here. The experience is always pleasurable. Dr. Rivas and the whole staff are attentive, communicative, caring and trustworthy. They act with skill & wisdom and take you & your pet’s best interest at heart. There aren’t enough adjectives to fully describe the level of care they give here.
Originally, I went to a different vet who rinsed my wallet, gave my cat 3 different medications within the span of 12 days & told me surgery was the only option to fix my cat’s “constipation”.
I found that absurd and looked for a 2nd opinion

We have two senior dogs and their health problems were beginning to become very frequent and they needed a serious new routine. Unfortunately we had to part with our previous vet provider, they essentially could not support the dogs.

Luckily in our backyard is Helpet. Such a amazing office with a supportive staff. We are so appreciative towards Dr. Henao and her approach to our dogs. Our Basset Hound has progressive arthritis and she has been our captain in crafting a routine for her. The basset hound is still adjusting but we are so happy with her care.

This is the best vet ever! Everyone is super sweet and helpful. I’ve been taking my 3 years old Frenchie with Dr. Rivas since we got him at 8 weeks and it was the best decision ever. They really take care of your dog. My Frenchie has had 2 simple surgeries with Dr. Rivas and has received the best care. I have 0 complains, costumer service is great, there’s no wait time for your appointment and doctor always return calls. If you want a vet that feels like family HELPET is the place to go!

I have been taking my two frenchies to this vet for a couple of years now. They always do a great job with taking care of them. One of my dogs does not like having his nails cut and unfortunately can become aggressive. They do a great job with him. Today I had to take him in at the last minute to have one of his nails cut and they were very understanding and Accommodating. The vets will always come outside and let you know what your dog will need to have done and give you a price list before they go ahead with anything. I would really recommend this vets to anybody who lives in the midtown area

We recently moved back down to Miami from NYC and were nervous about finding good veterinarians for our Yorkie & Pomeranian. We are thrilled to have found this place! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr Valentina Henao was SUPER professional, amazing bedside manners and spent a good amount of time talking to us about our dogs, answering every question we had. Did not feel transactional and you could see that they truly care about the well-being of pets. Happy to have found them! Thank you Helpet.

I wasn’t happy with the previous place I was taking my two babies so I decided to look for another place. I came across Helpet Vet and decided to bring my two pups here. I was super happy with the service I was provided. All the staff were amazing and super sweet. They were were so kind and loving and treated my babies with care. Dr. Rivas was also amazing!!! He was also so caring with my babies and was great at explaining all the tests, procedures and results. They also email you all that info which is helpful to have in writing. I definitely recommend brining your pet to Helpet Veterinary Center

Absolutely love bringing my puppy to Dr. Rivas and his staff! They are very professional and caring. Very easy to make appointments. They are always on time and no need to plan to wait for long hours to get things done like at the other vets. Dr. Rivas is great and you can see how much he cares about his patients! Best vet I have ever visited! Highly recommend!

I do not recommend this vet unless you literally live next door. I guess I'm fortunate to have had good vets up in NY who feel more like family. I called Helpet days after I adopted my dog because it seemed to have pneumonia. I asked if they had the same resources as a hospital in case he needed to stay overnight, to which they replied "yes". This was false. They took hundreds of dollars from me and then instructed me to take the dog to another animal hospital, leaving me double billed!!
Additionally, they continued to refer to my male puppy as "her" and "she".

Took my brand new puppy here for the first time- we were late , and before closing time and the team WAS AMAZING! Never once made me feel bad for being late and they were gracious, patient, and took their time and were efficient with the entire service. A tech met me outside due to Covid restrictions & the Doctor called me after his checkup for the update and such... they ended up treating my little guy for an hour an a half ! They stayed an hour after closing and I was so impressed and thankful!

I cannot recommend Dr. Rivas and his staff enough...! I took Chico in for a check up and to see about a loose tooth and the doc was incredibly thorough, helpful and was able to come up with a health plan and performed oral surgery to take out a couple bad teeth. Jackie his assistant was so nice and helpful as well. These people genuinely care about what they do, the place is super clean and nice. Also they don’t have outside surgeons come in. Dr. Rivas did the surgery and sent me the radiographs plus before and after pics showing all the detail of his excellent work. I have 5 vet places within

We were there first time and they just want to take your money out of your pocket. Doctor didnt say anything about she my dog was sick. They charge $75 just to see the dog but and you come out with $150 bill. My dog got sick again , we Calle sand they didn't want to give her same prescription , but they want us to bring her in to charge more money. Will not go there ever again. They don't want to help your pet only to help their bank account.

Dr. Rivas and his team are absolutely phenomenal! They have been taking great care of my kitty Lucy, ever since we found her as a stray. They got her dewormed, vaccinated and spayed, and they are always extremely sweet, kind and attentive. We love it there and wouldn’t entrust her to anyone else!

They are always very attentive to my dog and are understanding of the amount of questions I ask as well as my level of nervousness. My dog got very sick last week and I had to leave her there for the day to be hooked up to an IV. When I called to check up on her, the doctor himself gave me an update on how she was doing and calmed my concerns.

She is better now thankfully and I will continue to bring her in for her annual visit. While pricier than my previous vet, the pricing matches up with the area.

What a great experience. My Trudy wasn't feeling well and my last vet gave her medicine that they knew would hurt her stomach and liver because she already has a preexisting condition so they kind of just didn't seem to care. I made a same day appointment at helpet , got right in, they were quick, clean, polite and respectful which is not easy to find in Miami. Then they changed her medicine to something gentler and she was so much better within a few hours, they had reasonable pricing and Dr. Rivas even emailed to check in with me a day or two later. I have been taking my puppy Summer to this clinic ever since I got her. Dr. Rivas and his staff are very attentive, supportive and caring. As a first time mom, I couldnt ask for a better vet than him!The clinic is always clean and sanitized which is a super plus for me. Would reccomend this place to anyone who lives in the Midtown/Edgewater area!

I made an appointment at Helpet on an emergency visit. I was anxious because my pup had blood in her stool and I was scared thinking it may be Parvo. As soon as I called, the tech on the phone made me feel at ease. She helped me arrange a same day appointment and was great at managing my expectations when it came to fee's. Before reaching out to them, I've called around and got mixed messages on fees and issues that stressed me out more.
Once I arrived I was greeted by a woman and man vet tech (forgive me I forgot your names) who were very welcoming. They gave me a lot of good information

There was convenient parking in the garage behind the shop. Their schedule and friendliness are what helped me choose them. So far I've only brought one cat in for an exam. I can't rate the dental surgery yet, but I hope it goes well.
