I went there shortly after it opened with my wife. I got the seafood gumbo and it was fairly good. But the service was extremely slow. I went a few months later with my wife and in laws on a busy night. The food was sub par. The seafood gumbo was all broth and okra. I told the waitress. All she said was, "Oh, I guess they mixed it a little thin." That was it. She barely even came to our table. I just went by myself today. I said I just want a quiet spot on the porch to read and drink some wine. The hostess said ok; I'll get a waitress. So I sat down. I sat for 30 minutes and no one came by at all

An evening meal with my family as we visited our son. I ordered crab cake and shrimp, but neglected to request fried shrimp, I also had rice and green beans. My son ordered pulled pork and fixings, my wife ordered popcorn shrimp, while my daughter ordered the Cajun chicken and sausage alfredo.
Our waiter was a happy and pleasant fellow. We also ordered a crab dip appetizer, which was pretty good (it is served with tortilla chips). Our order arrived after a reasonable amount of time. The food arrived plentiful and hot, definitely a leftover box may be needed!

I want to like this place, but it's hard to like a seafood place when you can tell their seafood is not the best quality and tasted like it was frozen and soggy. How does one even make soggy corn on the cob??? The waitress was nice and that's the only reason I gave two stars. Also, they were out of fresh and grilled oysters, which is the only reason we went there. Probably won't be going back.

Been here too many times. The food is almost always barely mediocre, if that. My gf got sick this last time, the time before for brunch she got her eggs totally wrong. She doesn't like them runny, and they came runny. She specified not runny. They even tried again after I had to complain for her, and guess what, round 2 was runny.
The price point is ridiculous for how bland the food is. I'd rather spend this type of money in Destin where the food quality is clearly superior.
Idk why I keep coming back, there just aren't that many options in Niceville. But I would absolutely not

Contrary to other reviews I came here with my family and our service and food was amazing. Prime rib in the trios tacos literally is so tender it melts in your mouth. Fish is seasoned beautifully with a great acidity to it. I personally ordered the shrimp pasta and it was wonderful. Perfect sauce and shrimp combo with great flavor. Overall great experience would definitely recommend it to others.

My family and I went here twice in 3 days because of the oysters. They were big, sweet and nicely prepared. We had the raw and grilled. Highly recommend. We had great servers. On the first night, my dad had 2 bowls of the gumbo and everybody enjoyed the fried shrimp we had. The only complaints are (1) the drunken mussels could've used some salt and more mussels; (2) crab cakes need more crab and less filling; and (3) the Mac and pasta could've used more crab as well.

First I want to say that as a local small business owner myself I fully understand the impact that the current labor shortage is having on businesses. With that in mind you have to figure out how to do more with less. We went here for Sunday brunch for our anniversary. Seated in about 15 minutes so that was good. Looked at the menu and then sat for about 15-20 minutes before anyone even said anything to us. The first contact was by a server who was actually serving a back room. She told us our server would be with us shortly and if they weren't then she would at least get our drinks.

My wife and I just had the pleasure of dining at The Wharf 850. Great views, excellent service and really good food. We had the gator bites and stuffed mushrooms for appetizers. The gator was cooked well but it needed more sauce. Highly recommend the chef try blackened the gator and serving it on shredded cabbage with a side of the Asian sauce to really elevate the dish. The stuffed mushrooms were fantastic and I wouldn't change a thing. We shared the crab cake and shrimp plate for our entree. My wife did find a couple of small pieces of shell but other than that this was a great dish

The Wharf 850, located on the marina in Niceville, Florida, was an absolute pleasure. We sat at the bar downstairs and enjoyed the live music and the cold beverages. They offered the full food menu downstairs along with great views of the marina. The service was outstanding. The food was yummy and fresh. Highly recommended!!

Had brunch with some friends here yesterday. I like that it was an open atmosphere and the views were pretty nice. We started with some drinks were great, except I didn't care much for the wharf sunset (I think it was called). It was very sweet and tasted a little flat, but the mimosas, tequila sunrise and Bloody Mary was great! The chicken and waffles are a must try. The bananas foster French toast was also good! Overall, pretty decent place for brunch. Oh, and our server Kris was great!!
