My love for photography started in high school, when I was taking pictures of everything and everyone I knew. This little hobby of mine turned into something more when I decided that I would pursue a degree in photography. In the fall of 2008 I graduated with my Associates Degree in Commercial Photography.
Since then, my passion of photography has only grown. Oh, did I mention we met on Match.com? Our story isn't typical, but it's a fun one to tell. Since becoming a mother, I have realized the importance of capturing every little milestone of my boys because they are growing up so fast.

Services
I will do a little posing, give you some guidance and then I let your family naturally connect with one another. I want to capture your family and your children just as you are! These sessions can take place in-home or outdoor on location. Newborns are most comfortable in their own home so that is where we shoot.
I typically like to photograph in the morning hours or a couple hours before sunset to avoid harsh mid day sunlight. Family, Maternity and Senior sessions take place either in your home or a park or designated spot around Greensboro. Newborn sessions are usually photographed in my clients' homes. You will be sent a style guide for your session once you book.

I’m so glad I used Lucy for my newborn photos! I wasn’t sure what to expect or exactly how to prepare for pictures with a one week old (and my own 1 week postpartum body). But, she made it so easy! She came to us, was patient and understanding, great with our newborn, and the client wardrobe was a huge help. And of course, the pictures were phenomenal!

Lucy is WONDERFUL! She came to our home to take newborn pictures when our baby was just 5 days old. She was so considerate of my physical abilities as well; she's a mom and she understands that it may be hard to change positions as an early postpartum mama.
Lucy is also a baby whisperer! Our baby started crying during the photo sessions and she confidently swaddled her up and helped to soothe the baby to continue with the photo session. She was so patient with us. And when the pictures came back, they were amazing! We love her style and have several of the pictures framed in our house. I will

Such an amazing person and photographer! Lucy truly has a gift. She helps you feel at ease, connected right away with our boys and captured our family and personalities, perfectly. She is timely with turn around and the edits are beautiful and natural. Such a treasure to have these photos in our home. She is very reasonable especially for the quality of work. I would encourage anyone to invest in photos of your family since time goes so fast and Lucy is the perfect one to help with that.

Lucy is an amazing photographer! We've worked with her for our son's newborn photos and again for a Fall family session. Both times she did an amazing job with our little guy. I love how she was able to capture his personality! The aesthetic of her pictures are beautiful and is one of the reasons we'll continue to use her year after year.
