Adam Lowe is an international award-winning portrait, commercial, and corporate event photographer serving the Washington, DC, and Baltimore regions from his studio in Silver Spring, MD. His work has been featured in numerous publications and on the walls and coffee tables of his clients.
He is an instructor and mentor at the state accredited Washington School of Photography, active in the Professional Photographer's Association, and enjoys presenting at local and national conferences. Adam is a formally trained and PPA Certified Professional Photographer who has been mentored by some of the industry's premier portrait and event photographers.

It was my first time having a professional headshot taken, and Adam immediately put me at ease. After a series of shots, he helped me select one that projected a competent and confident image. He did a great job with the retouching the photo, and had it back to me in less than 24 business hours. Did I mention that he also called and emailed me after I left a personal item at his studio?

Just a wonderful guy to work with. His photography is on par with his people skills. His studio is also gorgeous. He did beautiful shots of our family that will readily adorn our home and holiday cards. He is able to capture gorgeous shots while making those in front of the camera at full ease with his patience and sense of humor. As a bonus, he was great with our little boy who is learning to smile in front of the camera. Highly recommended.

Adam is a wonderful person and a skilled photographer. His new studio is spacious and comfortable with ample room for the children. Also he has a changing room in the studio to help with wardrobe changes for your shoot. He is kind and patient with children and animals - and his shots of our family of 3 + 1 dog came our just as we had hoped. They reflected us as a family, and truly captured our love for each other. I uploaded an example of Adam perfectly capturing the moment when our dog Mia was giving our daughter a kiss. Thank you, Adam!

Adam was fantastic to work with! He was a natural at photographing our family, which is a challenge, as we have a 6 month old. He had great pose ideas, listened to our ideas, and worked quickly to get wonderful shots before the baby started melting down. He was so flexible and fun. Adam’s studio space is gorgeous and comfortable with an amazing dressing area, great mirrors, etc. I highly recommend Adam!

Excellent experience today! We felt warmly welcomed and Adam went out of his way to ensure my family felt comfortable.
He was a magician with our two children age 3 and 16 months. The pictures we’ve seen so far look amazing - I can’t wait to see the finished product!

Adam is a very patient and easy to work with photographer. He was especially patient with my two children during the session. All of the photos surpassed my expectations and he was able to catch some beautiful moments. I had not done an in studio photo session before, but it was a lot of fun and we have many beautiful photos to choose from. I highly recommend working with Adam!

Adam created a relaxed environment. My kids were very willing to cooperate and smile. It was a fun experience. In the pictures Everyone's ease and joy can be seen.
We took our dog, with Adams advance permission, too the shoot with us. I thought she would add some chaos, but Adam embraced the experience and got some amazing photos of her.
