I heard such great things before coming here. After I got here we waited 10 minuets just for our drinks to come out and it was not that busy. Our food took a while to come out too. Our server only came to our table 3 times and our glasses were empty for a while because we couldn't find our server for refills. Drinks are expensive. ($8-10 for a Margarita and it's small) Food is pretty good and cheap. Overall bad service but the food/drinks are decent. Also the spicy beef is like pulled beef and I wasn't a fan. Oh and I think they're the only Mexican restaurant that does not give you free chips and

I've only been in once, but I really liked the way the place was decorated. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food (and drink!) were great. The Irish-Mexican theme works well for them.

Excellent food, try the corn crusted catfish tacos, amazing. The margaritas are also out of this world. Expensive place, but absolutely worth it.

Wife and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. Good food, nice atmosphere, and it's priced about right. It's become a regular in our restaurant rotation.

For years now Jose Malones has been an icon of Troy quirkiness – Irish-Mexican? Wha? But in truth the fusion played out mostly in that the Irish sensitivity to spiciness seemed to be canceling out the depth and pizazz of Mexican cuisine. But six months ago something changed — a new chef?? A new menu appeared and not only is everyone on the orange colored one-sheet to die for, the standards on the old menu have jumped into the top tier of Mexican restaurants between Troy and NYC. I'd challenge Mexican Radio in Hudson, even, at this point. Also Jose's has a great bar and is one of the few places
