Dr. Michael Childs is the new owner and director of ARC Chiropractic. He's taking over a practice that's had a sterling reputation for almost four decades of serving the Saline and Pittsfield Charter Township communities. Dr. Childs will be adding sophisticated diagnostic technology to the already impressive array of care choices.
Dr. Michael Childs is the new owner/director of ARC Chiropractic in Saline. His mission is to help family members of every age lead a pain-free life with optimal function. Dr. Michael specializes in customized care plans, with an emphasis on chiropractic pediatric and prenatal care. He utilizes both research-based manual techniques as well as an instrument-based approach.
Movement is one of the most important needs of the body, all the way to a cellular level. Spinal segments must also have optimal mobility. If they can't bend or twist appropriately, it's usually because of misalignment. This immobility leads to early degeneration. A chiropractor applies a gentle force into the spine to restore proper movement.
The field of obstetrics has determined that the correct positioning of the baby in-utero affects birth outcome. Proper womb positioning also decreases the potential for stress on the baby's developing spine. I was worried when Dr. Adkins decided to retire. I’m prone to migraines, daily headaches, a hip that won’t stay in place and TMJ. Let me tell you…it is no easy feat finding a good chiropractor. Dr Adkins promised he’d find the right replacement for his business. Dr. Child’s is that perfect fit. He handles all my issues, my crazy schedule, he is professional yet funny and welcoming. His staff is courteous, knowledgeable and welcoming. Let me say his massage therapist is wonderful. Talk about a 1 stop shop for your health. This is it. So, for any who has been skeptical to try the good doctor

After playing sports literally my whole life and never speaking about my body hurting I finally came in for help. ARC Chiropractic is a very welcoming place to go and the staff are so sweet and will take care of you, only had a couple adjustments but by the second time my hips and lower back were already feeling a better thank to Dr. Child’s, also he was very easy to understand and made sure to explain what’s was going on and how he would help fix that and why it helps.

Dr Child’s is great! He knows just where the problem is and helps you feel better fast. The people here are all so nice, and friendly.
I came in not able to hardly move my neck and had lower back pain. I left feeling so much better. The Dr. tells you what he’s going to do, answers any of your questions, and is such a nice person as well.

After my Military Service and a career in law enforcement, chiropractic care is a necessity for me. My family and I have been going to ARC Chiropractic since they opened and I could not be more pleased with Dr. Childs and the office staff in general.
