Born and raised in Guanica, Puerto Rico, Dr. Vega wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. After graduating from Marquette University School of Dentistry, Dr. Vega enlisted in the U. S. Army, Where he completed a one-year general residency program. He was promoted to Major in 1991 and served at a dental clinic at Ft. Lewis, Washington, with a focus on Oral surgery.

Without question one of the most patient, compassionate, and logical doctors I've ever had the privilege of working with in all my 12 years of dental assisting. Dr. Vega and his staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and understand what is going on as a patient. I came transferred my care from another office that botched a filling, not once, but twice on the same tooth, and they couldn't figure out what to do after I returned due to discomfort & pain. I found Dr. Vega's office as it was close to my work and had no prior knowledge about them. He took me on as a patient and was able to do a root canal within the same week. Our son had an issue with his gums during the holdiay's. The only place that could see him was Bright Now Dental. They had ZERO clue what was going on. After looking in his mouth Dr. Vega knew excatly what was happening!! He asked our son some questions, found out he vapes (he no longer does). I was so impressed with the way Dr. Vega's approached a difficult situation. Needless to say, Dr. Vega will have a new ptaient for life.

Very thankful that I transferred here. :)
I am 7 months pregnant and just lost half of my back molar tooth from my wisdom teeth coming in. It was causing so much pain and I was worried about getting infections, especially while pregnant. Dr Vega had me in as soon as possible and was the most comforting, caring dentist I have ever met. I was nervous about the procedure itself but knew I needed it, I was in and out within an hour! And 30 minutes of that was talking to the amazing office staff. I am so thankful for the experience and how comfortable and quick it was. They also reached out to my OB

Dr. Vega is just so caring and accommodating in all the ways a dental patient needs a dentist to be. His office staff is the same (and I've left dentists due to office staff). They've always fit me in for emergencies (and I've had dentists that couldn't or wouldn't that I've left) and he is always checking on my comfort during potentially painful but necessary treatments.
