Nice spot in the downtown strip, food options are limited. About a dozen beers on tap. Bartenders are friendly and pretty quick with the drinks. Not a big spot, but some decent seating outside. I tried the wings, shrimp and nachos and none were to amazing, but still solid food that wasn't disappointing. Overall I would come back here if I wanted to meet some friends and have some beers and snacks.

Didn't even get a chance to eat. Was ignored by the hostess, asked the server for menus, and after ten minutes of no response, we left. I understand that help is hard to find, but the disrespect and ignorance of the staff are hard to overlook. Not sure if it was because we had small children, regardless I cannot recommend it.

Curbside's curb appeal drew us in this wintry morning. I can imagine how even more attractive it would be in the usual perfect SD weather with its wall of openable windows and outdoor seating. Today we couldn't even take the chill at a table near the door, so opted for counter seating under an indoor heat lamp with a great view of ever evolving downtown La Mesa.
I was a little nervous when the brief menu read just like bar snacks as this clearly is a sports bar, but the food service is friendly and prompt, and my hot tea was presented as cutely as any upscale cafe. Based on the Angus

Great looking place real local feel. Got seated on the sidewalk next to City trash cans right away. Very attentive wait staff took drink a food orders quickly, and moved heaters for us. Pretzel ball appetizers is ahhh kinda doughy didn't taste like a pretzel to me. I got the sliders with a salad as the side salad was highlight of meal. Wife got the La Mesa chicken sandwich and chips. Sliders had too much mayo on them for me. The La Mesa sandwich good size and tasty. Overall good place but victim of COVID prices. Almost 80 bucks (78 to be exact) and we had one drink each. At that price

This place refused entry on to their deck for my service dog. She is the pic on yelp!
We went to Oktoberfest their and want to sit on the deck and take a break get a drink and some food.
the hostess was very pleasant she said no dogs on the deck today so i showed her Bella's credentials. She asked the owner who gave me surly look and said no entry.
I told her that was a violation and she should allow Bella her and her body guards gave me the evil stare.
So long curb side no furry friend no money and all you out their should boycott this over priced place

New to the area so I decided to eat here , we got seated and received cups of water immediately. We waited about 15-20mins to get our order in and we realized everyone that got seated after us got drinks and food order in and we kept waiting. We made eye contact with server and bartender. Until we just gave up and left to the restaurant next door. They were attentive!
I never been here but first impressions matter, won't be wasting my money here. If anything that was a sign. Good day!

The food and service we received here a couple weeks ago was very good. Decent selection of beer on tap. However, judging from the photos showing blue stools, they changed the seating and are using these metal seats that are so tiny. We were seated facing west at the counter and it was nice, but ended up standing to finish eating. I mean I know it's tiny when my husband says he's finding it uncomfortable. That is our only issue.

I'd give 3 1/2 stars but I can't. I've driven by this place many times and have remarked I wanted to go - location and outdoor seating are on point! My friend and I went for lunch - server was very attentive. The food is what was lacking. My friend ordered the poke salad and I ordered the poke bowl. Both of us agreed there was no flavor in either. The poke didn't taste fresh or much like anything and there was zero dressing on the salad or bowl. Both were very dry. We asked for some dressing and the server brought Italian dressing. ???.

Went here for dinner on a whim and we loved it! We sat outside with our dog and had a good time. Our waitresses made sure we had everything we needed and brought me some sriracha sauce on the side for my Ahi Poke Salad (delicious and fresh). Great atmosphere and they have a great beer selection to choose from.

Love this great bar and restaurant that is situated right in the heart of downtown La Mesa. The decor is modern with a touch of greenery, gold rugged fixtures and the space is very inviting.... For some reason I always want to stop in for a glass of wine on the patio. Can't imagine why?!? Ha!
The decor is not the only reason this is a great restaurant. The food is damn tasty. The short rib melt is to die for. It comes with fries and I ask for a side of ranch. I've had every salad and the portions are generous, the champagne vinaigrette is really good and the ahi salad is my go-to! A

Great location right in the center of the village. Super big open windows to enjoy the good weather and sights. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wine and beer is decently priced. Margarita had a lot of ice and not much liquid, but still tasted good. A little pricey at $13, but it's had to find a decent mixed drink in east county. Not sure if I would order that drink again at that price. Waitress was super attentive and kind. We had to wait a little bit for the food, but the food was really tasty. Music that was playing was fun, 90's pop. Fun place to grab some tasty grub and good drinks

My wife and I have come here twice in the past month. It's phenomenal and our dogs are begging to come back.
Our first trip, we brought our downright princess of a pomeranian and were pleasantly surprised how accommodating this place is to canines. We had to get her the doggie burgers and she reported they were perfectly cooked with a well developed flavor.
I had the poke salad and scarfed each and every bite. During our second trip, I had the poke bowl which was equally wicked freaking yummy.
Great place and we'll keep comin!

Flat Iron steak was spot on. Cooked just like I asked for it (medium rare). Not American sized, but made up for in taste, and a nice portion of garlic fries.
My wife's short rib melt was phenomenal. She shared. Bless her soul.

Nice place. Smaller menu, we tried the French fries and we added garlic and parmesan. I ordered an old fashion, but I sent it back because the rim was dirty, the girl brought the drink back to me and told me it was the garnish. They rubbed some orange peel on the rim for flaovr, it was very unappealing, also no orange is mention on the description of the drink menu and this made it very disappointing. The seating needs to be replaced also, very uncomfortable to sit for 30minutes, I wouldn't want to sit for an entire meal.
