Sussex County Total Health is a modern facility known for its range of Chiropractic techniques and other services. We offer patients comprehensive spinal examinations including X-ray evaluation performed on-site for your convenience.

Chiropractic Adjustment of interference to the adaptive function of the central nervous system using Traditional hands on techniques, Zero-Force technique, Non-Force technique, Instrument techniques, and Laying on Fulcrums technique.
The procedures we use are therefore specifically selected for your spine and nervous system health. There are a couple of things that you should expect when you have a first visit at our clinic. Our Examination consists of a thorough spinal and nervous system exam which includes "Palpation". Palpation essentially is checking your spine by hand.
In simplest terms, a subluxation a.k.a. Vertebral Subluxation) is when one or more of the bones of your spine (vertebrae) move out of position and create pressure on, or irritate spinal nerves. Spinal nerves are the nerves that come out from between each of the bones in your spine. This pressure or irritation on the nerves then causes those nerves to malfunction and interfere with the signals traveling over those nerves.
This is a representation of one type of subluxation. A subluxation, as defined by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges is: "A subluxation is a complex of functional and/or structural and/or pathological articular changes that compromise neural integrity and may influence organ system function and general health."

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, and sometimes my body can be a wreck, and I usually have pain all over, especially when I wake up in the morning. My neck and my lower back are always hurting. I went to Dr. Walaczsyk at Sussex County Total Health and he did some xrays and diagnosed me with peripheral neuropathy. He adjusted me for a bit and I actually felt better in my neck right away, and noticed the left side of my back felt 90% better after a couple of days. I’m hoping I can get the right side better over the next two weeks or so also, so I can feel somewhat normal again. I’m doing some therapies

Unlike most chiropractic experiences I have had, I learned from Dr. Tom the importance of strengthening exercises and regular maintenance visits. Remarkable difference not only in my back, but in my general energy level as well. He is philosophical, but clearly does know his healing. I am in my sixties.

I went to see Dr. Walaszczyk when I was suffering from neck pain after a car accident. Always skeptical of chiropractors I was hesitant at first. But let me tell you I have never been more impressed with the improvements I have gained in my daily life going to see Dr. Tom (as he has all his patients call him). Not only has my neck pain caused by two herniated discs been getting better, but he has even helped me with my back pain that I had given up going away years ago
The staff is great. They will hook you up on the electric machines and work with you with whatever issue you have that current
