In 1967, HONBLUE got its start as a small, local blueprinter with a modest storefront in Honolulu's thriving urban core. We have been using honblue for a few years now, since we moved into our new warehouse. we opted for the onsite service in lieu of buying a new plotter for the convenience & practicality of it. and its been so so easy and hassle-free! If im getting low on supplies, all i have to do is send an email with what i need, and they usually deliver it that very same day, or the next. Absolutely no wait time, and i dont have to run out and get rolls of paper myself because that ish is heavy!

Some of their products are good but also some quality suffers due to unsatisfied employees. A friend who works there told me about how the graphics management create scapegoat situations to get rid of fellow co-workers, that kills your soul and morale. Said favoritism trumps seniority here, if your are a college student and dream about working here, that's when you know your career has ended.

Of course I waited till the last minute to get some training materials done so I had a lot to do, but practically no time left. Honblue came through like a champ! Used the services of HonBlue not once, but twice to professionally mount a poster print onto a gatorboard ~ then in 2009 for our wedding and now for our son's first birthday.
Reasonably priced, the Gatorboard was rigid yet lightweight and made an impressive poster collage display at our son's first birthday party!

The folks at HonBlue always create professional products and bend over backward to meet your needs at for a fair price. If you are downtown, they have a location on Bishop Street, too. Depending on your address, they can also deliver your projects. Every now and then they have art exhibitions at their main location, and are great supporters of our local art community.

So I'm an architectural student, I wanted to get my portfolio published and bounded. So I went to Honblue because of their superb reputation.
The guys were super helpful, and the lady at the front desk was really nice. Although upon pick up of my document, I had seen that they punched holes right through some of the text in ALOT of my pages for the spiral coil, and they didn't even include the black back cover and the clear plastic cover that I had specified when I ordered it the week before. It was a very bad experience and I couldn't do anything about it, with a deadline nearing
