Dr. Kathleen Rhodes is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Certified Addictions Professional and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Clinical Sexologists who specializes in individual, couples and family therapy. As the Clinical Director of Fifth Street Counseling Center IV, Dr. Rhodes oversees a team of qualified mental health professionals at all three Broward County locations.
Feedback from our clients is critical to our practice. We request client feedback at the end of the Intake/Orientation process and then again at the conclusion of a client's treatment.

Broward County residents can now receive first-class mental health services from a Joint Commission accredited counseling and mental health center.

I went to this facility to complete a recommended diversion program for a substance abuse arrest but I voluntarily left. I was shocked by how rudely I was spoken to by Dr. Rhodes. She belittled me on the phone and told me "I'm a drunk" because I had a couple drinks while in the program. I was unaware that I wasn't supposed to be drinking while in the program. No one there had told me that. Then they decided to move me from the 1-week, 1 hour a week counseling sessions to now 3 sessions a week and 2 hours each = 6 hours. They also wanted to extend my original 6 months with them

I am so disgusted by the way the owner Dr. Rhodes speaks to her clients that pay for the service. My experience her had been nothing but unpleasant. She is rude and screams at you. Interrupts class sessions with disgusting verbal language and makes unprofessional passes at clients and when I brought it up she got upset and kicked me out of the class that I paid for. This place is absolutely ridiculous and hasn't done what it says and offers. Dr. Rhodes has given me nothing but stress and anxiety as well as her doing it to others. I am blown away that she has stayed in business so long and

Simply went for an alcohol evaluation: this money hungry, bloodsucking, belittling business should be SHUT DOWN! They literally stole my money and failed to do the job I signed up for. First, this DR.(white, short, old hag) was told over and over, "I'm here for an ALCOHOL EVALUATION"(stated perfectly in the Court Order). Showed it to him and explained that I was under the impression that I was being offered an "alcohol'' evaluation, NOT DRUGS!? This old man then proceeded to call the law, when asked for a refund for failure to provide the agreed terms of customer service

From day one Shakira was very repsectful and very eager to help. She is always on top of her duties and always greeted with with a smile and made me feel very welcome everytime i had group, it didnt take het long to remeber your name and making you feel like family. This was the only company on the list that answered the phone. It was very professional and they gave me an appointment the next day. The office on 441 was easy to find and staff was nice. I was seen on time by Gary and he was very understanding. It is a busy place but they took the time to explain everything to me and answer all of my questions. I was recommended to 26 weeks and they give you a lot of choices for the class times and not very expensive. So far, so good.
