AFHE's mission is to be the leading resource for the on-going advancement, collaboration and education of practicing attorneys and other professionals who provide multi-disciplinary counsel to family-held enterprises. The Attorneys for Family-Held Enterprises (AFHE) is an independent, non-profit association of attorneys, practicing in the areas of corporate, litigation, taxation, and trusts and estates who provide multi-disciplinary legal counsel and advice to publicly and privately-held enterprises, their owner-managers, and family members.
AFHE members provide strategic business guidance with the deep resources needed to address the complex and unique legal challenges of family-held enterprises. Our members have impressive credentials and a history of producing outstanding results. In today's day and age with technology being such a static in everyone's lives AFHE had to adhere to societal pressures and join the social media revolution.

To assist the membership committee in evaluation of your qualifications, please briefly describe your legal practice, the time and attention devoted to privately-held enterprise issues and clients, and information about training and education programs you have attended.RENEWAL INFORMATION: To renew your membership go to the Members Area and log in to renew your membership early.
AFHE runs two conferences a year. Our Annual Conference is typically held in the Spring and the Mid-Year Conference which is typically held in the fall.
