It is often the little things that can make a difference in the lives of those struggling. At QueensCare, we are committed to caring for our community. Whether it is providing healthcare directly to Los Angeles' low income and under-insured residents or through our charitable giving, never has that commitment been stronger than it is today.
Our mobile dental and vision programs offer free direct patient care to many low-income students at a number of Los Angeles Unified schools. QueensCare Health & Faith partnership offers free healthcare programs through partnerships with churches, faith-based schools, and social service agencies. We serve low-income children and families with mental health services, including anxiety, trauma, depression, and disruptive behavior.

As a faith-based organization, QueensCare provides, directly and in collaboration with others, accessible quality healthcare for low-income individuals and families residing in Los Angeles County. QueensCare is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization originally founded by the Franciscan Sisters of Sacred Heart, whose mission of compassion and accessible healthcare continues today.
The long, rich history of our organizations began over a century ago in San Francisco. The Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart founded, led and/or grew each of these entities with a single purpose in mind - to care for those in need. That history of compassionate service continues today in St. Joseph's Health Support Alliance, QueensCare and QueensCare Health Centers, thanks to the hard work, sacrifice and fine example set by the Sisters.
QueensCare Health and Faith Partnership works with various faith communities and social service agencies in Los Angeles. These trusted institutions act as resources and points of access to low-income families and individuals seeking healthcare at low or no cost. Our Parish Nurses and Community Health Workers are available on a weekly basis and provide a wide array of health services - from free health screenings to health education to Zumba.
Since 1998, QueensCare has served low-income families and individuals living in Los Angeles County. Rather than limiting funding to those who had no insurance of any kind, QueensCare can now serve low-income residents who have insurance, but face daunting healthcare challenges not covered by insurance.
