I called Scalley Reading Bates Hansen & Rasmussen to talk to a real estate attorney today and was directed to Marlon Bates. Marlon did an excellent job reviewing my case on the phone and helped me determine that using his services was probably not in my best interest due to cost. I appreciated his candor. He gave me an hour of his time for free, weighed the factors of my case, and suggested I go to small claims court. He even offered to talk to me again before going to small claims court if I had additional questions. So, while I didn't formally hire Marlon as my attorney, I certainly benefited

Had to have a trust amended in a rush. We were put in touch with Randy Morris and Aaron Christenson at this law firm. Working together they meet the deadline we had and took the time to answer our questions. I would recommend this firm for anyone looking into family trusts.
Thank you Randy and Aaron!

No one likes to be drawn into a protracted legal dispute. This happened to me recently. One of the best decisions I made was to use Darwin Bingham of Scalley Reading to represent me.
I was drawn into Bankruptcy court, Federal Court and State Court with a plaintiff and their lawyers. Mr Bingham was comfortable and competent in whatever setting I was dragged into.
I can't say enough positive things about his professionalism, compassion and knowledge base I was able to draw upon. These were uncharted waters for me and my family. Darwin, however was able to steer us through these rough times with

I contacted the firm having some legal questions about property in the Avenues. I was connected with and spoke to attorney Mr. (Marlon) Bates. We spoke for quite some time and in great detail. Marlon listened, BOTH attentively and carefully to me, and then went through several potential options, in detail. Marlon was patient, spoke calmly, clearly and all in "laymen" terms, explaining everything so as to be quite clear and understandable. (Not only was I pleased but honestly, I was a bit stunned at his generosity and kindness for providing me with such a thorough and FREE phone consultation!) I

If I could give this firm a 10 star review, I would. I HIGHLY recommend Randy Morris as an attorney for your legal needs, as he has been helping me with a very complicated probate case involving 3 states for a year. Randy was a great listener, prompt, returned calls and actually has become one of my friends and confidants. Emotionally I could not have made it through my situation without Randy. He is relentless and is smart understanding the law and great legal perspective on how to win. Thank you Randy!

Attorney Marlon Bates went above and beyond in advising me and drafting an agreement to modify and modification to easement for my house purchase and I'm 100% sure I would not have been able to go through buying my first house without his help.
This was my first every need for an attorney, so I found Marlon through just the regular online search. After sending inquiry to over half dozen attorneys I found, Marlon was the very first to respond with immediate availability. I got a free consultation by phone and the man was very nice at first but wasn't willing to listen to the whole situation before he wanted to take control over the conversation. I know it was difficult to help me because I have anxiety and when he was taking the conversation in a wrong direction and I didn't want to waste time going that way I would interrupt to tell him the facts and he got upset and said he couldn't help me. If you don't answer his questions directly and short answers and let him control the conversation he will get upset, which I get, since he is the lawyer

I am very glad to have Scalley & Reading legal service since 30 yrs ago. All of their lawyers are very patient, experienced in their selective legal expertise. Unless you sit down with one of their lawyer, you have no idea how easy, how affordable their fees, how much you feel peaceful once you have retained their legal service. Sadly I moved to San Francisco area but I still call up Scalley & Reading for my legal work. I highly recommend their legal service to all of you guys!
