How do I remove a car from my insurance policy? You will need to surrender the plates to the DMV and provide us with the FS-6 receipt from the DMV. My family has always been with Potter-Jones for over 30 years. Evan has always done right by us. Whenever we have needed something addressed it has been taken care of. When we call Evan he knows exactly who we are. One time on a Friday late in the day we called because we had bought a pull behind camper. We realized we had not insured it until that moment when we were pulling it down the road. We called him and it was taken care of in that minute. We have been with Potter Jones Agency for 30 plus years. Any issues or claims we have had have been dealt with in timely manner and with a great outcome.
