Can always rely on Out West Garage for smart and efficient repairs. Recently had some rodent damage, and Out West found and repaired the damaged wiring in a very reasonable amount of time.

All I can say is that Petaluma should be proud to have this business in our town.

Had a problem with opening and locking our pilots doors. Called Marie she told me to bring it in. Spoke with Darell and he figured it out. Amazing service. I feel they are the best of the best.

I went here for my 60k tune up. They did not try to upsale me on anything. Also I had them check the trasmission because I had taken it to another garage and was told There was 1.4k worth of work that had to be done on the transmission but they checked the car and there were no transmission issues.

My elderly mother lives in Petaluma, her situation is complicated, she is on a very fixed income, and is vulnerable to being taken advantage of, I step in where I can to help. With that said, she has an appointment at another shop to get a problem diagnosed, the diagnostic fee will be applied to the repair. Bearing that in mind, I wanted to find a reputable shop for a second opinion if the repairs estimate is very costly.

I called Outwest and spoke with Maria, she offered to see my mom same day, even though we were nearing closing time and she offered a courtesy diagnosis ahead of my mom&apos

Very kind, reasonably priced and my car was ready in one hour as they said it would be. Definitely coming back! We live in SR but heard good things about them. Walked to Saxs for breakfast

THIS is THE place to go if you have a hybrid... Maria the owner is very knowledgeable and realistic about estimates when it comes to pricing and scope of work. I especially like that the language of 'cars' is simplified in a way that I understand what needs to be done.
AND it's CLEAN - really clean. One doesn't need to worry about walking away with a stain after they've touched something. Definitely raises the bar where other garages are concerned.

I took my truck in for an electrical issue and was quoted $160 for diagnostics. 20-minutes after dropping the truck off it was ready. Final bill, $34.23.

One of the ways to assess a repair shop, to figure out if they are honest, is to look at what they do when given the opportunity to gouge. Out West Garage could have easily charged me $200 and I would never have known the difference.

As a girl who doesn't know a lot about auto mechinic stuff and has felt taken advantage of many times in the past - Out West Garage is a dream come true!

Out West has integrity, kindness and know-how. Their pricing feels extremely fair and I completely trust their mechanics.

Also, the garage is owned and run by a woman, which is the icing on the cake! Ladies - you will not feel as though you are being talked down to, BSed or as though you have paid for anything unnecessary. I highly recommend!

Out West was recommended to me by a friend, and I am so lucky! My sweet old car suddenly bit the dust and Darrell and Maria at Out West were compassionate and hard working during the whole process. First they checked everything out, did not charge me for that service, and then allowed me time to figure out what I wanted to do. I also appreciated their patience for letting my car sit on their lot while I figured out my next steps. From my oil change to a sad goodbye, the people that work at Out West do a great job and are incredibly friendly and you won’t be sorry for taking your car here!

I am new to the area and found Out West Garage through a Google search. Darrell could not have been more than helpful! Brought my Prius in to check on a couple warning lights that came on for my ABS system. He hooked it up to the machine and identified the issue. With a little research he told me it was an issue Toyota had identified and added an extended warranty for the part. The part was fixed for free by Toyota. So while I have yet to actually pay for service at Out West Garage, it will certainly be my first choice when another issue arises or my car requires maintenance next.

I cannot thank Maria and her staff enough for everything they do to help my family out with their cars. When our mechanic of 40 years left the state, I did so much research and feel so grateful that we found Out West. I never panic now when I have a car issue because I know what great service and care I will get at Out West. They are one in a million. Thank you, Maria! I am so grateful and we recommend you to everyone.

I have a 2005 Subaru Outback, and Out West is the only place I'll take it, on the rare occasion it needs mechanic attention. Excellent service, friendly, prompt. They are all around fantastic!

I've gone to this garage for years and have always gotten honest, friendly service. One time when I got stranded and had to call a mobile mechanic, he said this is the finest shop in Sonoma County for Japanese makes--and maybe the best, period. There are some shops that are a little cheaper, but Maria and Darrell let you know if something needs work before it becomes a more expensive issue. So which would you rather do--pay $225 twice or pay $250 once?

I've used them multiple times at this stage. Maria and the team are fabulous. Best mechanics ever and very fairly priced. We've been watching a strut issue on our Prius for 3 appointments now. So far they feel the issue has not degraded to the point of needing repair. Most mechanics would be pushing from the get go for a repair. Extra points for quirky waiting room which has a Double Bass! Turn around time is always good too.

Maria, owner, manager is fantastic, efficient and hilarious. She took great care of my three Subarus. Always charged reasonably and the work was always finished on time. Could not endorse her more strongly.

After running around town trying to get new headlight bulbs installed on my Mazda CX7, I called Maria who said to swing on by, she would take care of me. And She DID! Within 10 minutes my lights were installed and I was on my way. While I waited, I enjoyed her cozy waiting-room filled with magazines, games, arts and instruments to help you pass the time. I almost wish it took longer so I could have really soaked in Maria's inviting atmosphere and listened to her sing along with the old-timey voice playing in her office. (not bad Maria!!)
