Miranda North Photography is a boutique photography studio specializing in natural newborn, baby and maternity photography for Los Angeles & Orange County. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my studio. Now a days there seems to be an overwhelming amount of choices in photographers in Southern California, and I am so thankful for your time considering me.
With just a 20 minute drive south from the South Bay ( Los Angeles) and a 20 minute drive north from Costa Mesa( Orange County), located at 2752 E Broadway, Long Beach, CA my studio is located centrally for both my Los Angeles, and Orange County newborn, maternity and baby photography clients!
All newborn, baby and maternity sessions take place at my natural light photography studio creating the perfect environment for those naturally posed, light and airy baby and pregnancy portraits.With the consideration of such new little babies coming into the studio, the studio is by appointment only, and cleaned to maintain the most optimal and clean environment.

Pricing is broken down into a session fee + a $395 minimum order towards a digital package, separate from the session fee. Session Fee's covers the time of the session, access to over 100+ carefully curated wardrobe gowns, hand retouched editing of your images and a private online gallery to order your images.
To ensure session availability, please make sure to book your session 6-8 weeks in advanced. I do my very best to fit in last minute bookings, although it does depend on the week. Please contact me for any last minute availability as I do my best, especially for newborns! I can only take a limited amount of newborn sessions per month to ensure availability to schedule the new baby in once he/she arrives.

This is my second time using Miranda for my newborn photos. Let me tell you- she is so gifted. Both of my babies refused to sleep and screamed/cried the whole time, my daughter refused to get anywhere near my newborn son during the shoot, my husband was taking work calls the entire time sporadically throughout the sessions, and my PPD was at an all-time high due to sleep deprivation and hating my post partum body. Yet she still managed to get these amazing pictures of my family that I will treasure forever. In my opinion it is worth every penny!

We love Miranda! She's a great photographer that can keep you and your baby engaged the whole time. She's flexible with your requests and provides quality photos that'll last a lifetime. Shes also easy to talk to so it makes the session fun. Even my husband had fun!!
On a Covid note: her studio have always been very clean and it really gives you a peace of mind. Masks are to be worn before your shoot and she keeps hers on as well. Her wardrobe is AMAZING and she keeps them all very clean. Never had a bad experience there.
Hope we get to go back to her for many years to come.

We were recommended to Miranda so we knew that the photos would be great! We were so happy with the treatment she provided from the booking to the actual shoot. I am a first time mommy and she made me feel so comfortable in my skin and made sure baby was happy too! You can tell her experience just by the way she moved with us. We cannot wait to get our family portraits when our daughter gets older!

I was referred to Miranda by a friend whose newborn photos were oh so beautiful. I was hesitant about doing a maternity shoot feeling so pregnant but I'm so glad I decided to do the maternity and newborn package with Miranda. Our maternity photos came out gorgeous and I will cherish them forever! I can't wait to see how the newborn pics come out once baby is here in September. Not only is Miranda an incredible photographer, but such a genuine and friendly soul. I found her work through instagram and was immediately drawn to her light, airy, romantic yet natural style of photography -- it's stunning! I found Miranda through Yelp and I'm glad I did because when I got my pictures I was so happy with the outcome(:
The day of the photoshoot I was nervous about how I was going to pose but Miranda guided me from beginning to end she was sooooo nice!

I came to Miranda's studio nearly in tears because my make up was horrible.
I found an artist who specifically said he was Miranda's follower and knew her style but he did my make up like I was going to a club, the lashes were falling off, and the foundation was melting off my face.
She personally helped me fix the dramatic make up and tried her best to be so positive about the whole situation.
I had also gained massive weight out of nowhere that week, (I literally went from "You don't look pregnant!" to "Wow! She got so big! She's ready to come out!"
