Dental implants are prosthetic teeth that are used to replace one or more teeth that have become lost due to decay or trauma. Anchored in the jaw, dental implants look, feel and work just like natural teeth, and they can be tinted to match surrounding teeth so they blend in seamlessly. Dental implants are implanted into the jaw bone using a metal post or "root" to attach and stabilize them.

My name is Emely, today was my first time visiting this office. I struggle with major anxiety, every dentist visit I've ever had my entire life has been a fearful journey. Today for the first time ever, I had work done and didn't need to be sedated. I met Soheil, Dr. Witkosky, they were both amazing! The fact that they understood my anxiety and were so patient with me means a lot. I will recommend this dental office to my family and close friends. This is by far the best dental place I've ever been to. I love coming here. The staff is what makes the place so good. Dr Refoa is like a family member. She is like a mother or favorite relative. I was a patient here for years. They billed my insurance for procedures they never provided me when I would go in for routine cleanings and checkups. Now I actually need one of the procedures they billed my insurance for - and I'm having a terrible time getting it sorted out with the insurance company - and I may have to pay cash for it. I would absolutely stay away from this place. They're not honest and it may cause problems for you like it did for me.

Dr Refoa is a monster, and should never be trusted. I have been forced to suffer, while they give me incorrect information about my insurance, and fluctuate on their claims for 5 months. I have never even been allowed to speak to this dentist, who has charged my medi-cal insurance for this service. Don't waste your time here, these people are unbelievably cruel and incompetent, and have severely worsened my underlying immune condition by delaying this work for me so tremendously. My friends elderly father had a dental emergency, and because I was a patient, Janet and her team saw him ... even during this COVID pandemic.
They were professional, they tested him for the virus and wore PPE so we felt a high level of safety and comfort.
The work they did was phenomenal ... gentle yet effective. We are now making plans for complete restoration of this sweet mans healthy smile ... and of course we are going to use JJP.

Do yourself a favor and go to another dentist unless you want to wait an extremely long time just to be seen. This was my third attempt and once again the wait time exceeded 50 minutes. My daughter had tooth ache so I needed to make an emergency appointment. Unlike the previous times (one of which was for myself and I ended up walking out after 50 minutes of waiting) I was told the wait time would be a little longer (I was thinking maybe 20-30 minutes longer) since the appointment was urgent but never thought this would mean to I plan to be there for 2 plus hours. What an absolute mess. They should be ashamed to even be open for business. I was warned by a staff member that they are unprofessional, especially Hilda, but it's hard to believe in this day and age.

True-fully I'm the baby of all babies when it comes time to visit the dentist for a cavity to be DRILLED and FILLED. Dr.Janet Refoa along with staffers Shiva and Mojdeh have gone above and beyond with handling the care of my smile.
Dr.Refoa saved two teeth from root canals when other dentist were claiming it was the only route to go. While keeping the procedure painless her sense of humor lightens the mood that you forget that your having your tooth drilled.

I previously gave this dental establishment 5 stars, well that was probably over a year ago. Anyway, this brings me to the current situation. I also referred and took my sister. They have a habit of giving you an elaborate dental treatment and charging you in full for the entire treatment. Well I put the charges for my sister's treatment on my credit card. Dr. Refoa's staff was really rough on her and caused additional pain, so much so that she did not want to return.

This practice has a handful of lovely staff members (Hilda, Jason and Mojdeh), so I'm wary of being overly critical of the entire practice. Also Dr. Refoa can be friendly and they did an okay job with cleanings.
But buyer beware of doing serious dental work here. Over the years I was a patient, I had more bad experiences than good.

Janet Refoa and everyone here is very nice and took the time to answer all my questions. I had a pretty bad cavity in one of my wisdom teeth. They thought they may have to do a root canal or extract it. But turns out they were able to save my tooth. Very happy with the quality of work and taking the time for me. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist.

The level of unprofessionalism in this office is staggering. I have spoken to the Dental Board of the State of California and will be filing an official complaint. After treatment from a specialist Is completed, I may file a malpractice, so I cannot go into detail about my experiences at this . All I can say to the public is Avoid! Avoid! Avoid!

Anyone who has a horror story about this astonishingly unprofessional dental office should massage me. My situation is so serious that the CA Dental Board will be receiving a detailed complaint with supporting documentation and I will be contacting an attorney in short order. There is some very unsavoury goings on in this office. If you would like to band together and stand up for basic human dignity and proper medical treatment needs to step up and be counted! We can whine on Yelp! or we can find a lawyer, make complaints, and receive justice.

My X-ray technicians Jason & Mojdeh were SUPER sweet and all about the "technique" so you never ever feel pain! They're the best!
I needed a filling and Janet was really accurate. My last dentist I always had to come back and get my filling shaved more because it would not be quite right with my bite.
The parking is crunched, but hey, they have parking and it's free? Whoa, ya baby!

Spotless office, gracious and professional all around; Janet is dough eyed and warm-hearted with a genuinely friendly and pithy bedside manor. There is an of a "dental home" as she put with a palpable interest in ones dental welfare. This is the nicest and most memorable dental experience in memory. I'll finally rid my body of these draconian mercury amalgam fillings. There's live orchids about too!

I don't know what the deal with this office is. I'll start out by saying that everyone who works here was very friendly, and I have no complaints on that front. That said, yesterday made the *third* time that I went in and was asked to reschedule after arriving at their office and waiting. It seems like they're always extremely backed-up in the afternoons, and for some reason they won't call you to tell you this, so you end up wasting hours of your day.
Also, the one time I did actually get seen, I only saw Dr. Refoa for less than a minute - someone else handled every other
