Upon graduating from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 1987, Attorney Mena began her private law practice.

Maria met with me personally the very first day. She took the time to explain how things would proceed. Kathryn was also exceptional, she made sure I was kept abreast of everything and returned n.y calls in a timely manner. I was only called into the office when Maria was there as well in case I had any questions. They treated me as though they valued my time and had my best interest at heart. If I need legal services for anything I'll go to Maria first!

My experience working with Maria was horrible. She is somehow never in the office and not available to speak with, so I get little to almost no communication with her. When finally I decided to leave this lawyer, what I didn’t want to happen happened. This woman told me “I don’t want you as a client” , started bringing up my past, and talked bad about her employees too. This showed me that this woman has no patient for her work and especially for her clients. No one deserve this treatment form Anyone. It’s as if she does not even care about her clients. After looking at a few law firms, I decided to go with Maria Mena's office and I am very happy I did. The office is conveniently located in downtown Silver Spring and everyone I met in the office was professional and very courteous to me. They took the time to understand the details of my case and then put together a comprehensive plan to represent me. They executed flawlessly and were always there to answer my questions along the way. I achieved the result I was hoping for and just as importantly, I felt their fees were very fair and reasonable so you can't ask for more than that in a law firm

I hired Maria and her team for something I had done when I was 17. Maria was like a lioness protecting her cub. She didn't let up.
