Regular nose-to-tail wellness exams, early detection, and age-specific assessments help keep your pet healthy. Many animals are good at hiding signs that something is wrong, so subtle changes in their health or behavior might be overlooked without preventive care. At Yukon Hills Animal Hospital, our treatment philosophy is aimed at prevention with early diagnosis and treatment.
Early detection using diagnostic testing provides a complete picture of your pet's health, improving outcomes, and providing baseline results. Our staff is committed to helping you get a full picture of your pet's health through laboratory and diagnostic testing. Annual blood testing helps us determine a normal baseline for your pet.
Our experienced veterinary team provides comprehensive medical care, ranging from routine to advanced procedures and treatments. Although we handle the majority of your pet's medical and surgical needs in-house, we occasionally refer patients to veterinary specialists or specialty clinics when advanced training or equipment will be beneficial.

This place has really gone down hill. They used to be wonderful, but since the beginning of the year it's nearly impossible to get an appointment or if you do, they are running significantly late. Due to Covid, you can't go in with your pet anymore. They can't seem to keep their phones working or respond timely anymore.
My dog also became very sick and they were too busy to make an appointment for her that day. I said that was fine and I would go to Neel Vet Hospital. They talked me into going to Blue Pearl instead which was they worst thing I could have done for my dog. Blue Pearl

Recently starting taking my dogs here (switched from a different vet). Although I haven't been able to see the inside due to Covid... the staff has been so friendly over the phone and answering questions that I had. My dogs were able to get seen right away as well. Thanks for taking care of my pups.

We have been taking our pets to these vets (Father and son) for twenty four years. I can tell you they are they are the best of the best. I called Dr. Posey (Sr) on Christmas Eve - I told him that my mother in laws dog died (from Kingfisher not even one of his customers) - I apologized I told him how callous my mother in laws vet treated her (she had been a customer there for over thirty years) she wanted to have her dog cremated - I asked him if he could do it for us (for her) he left his family gathering and ran to the clinic and met us to pick the dog up. How many vets do you know like that

Everyone is so patient, appointments are easy to make and they hardly ever run behind. They are extremely patient with my dog that doesn't enjoy getting her nails cut/filed down. They always read the notes in my dog's chart about her fear of getting her nails cut and they are so patient and comforting to not only my dog but to my husband and I also. They are always so positive when telling me how my dog did getting her nails cut or anything. Highly recommend!

Can't say enough about YHAH!
When new to area and wanting a trusted vet, we were recommended by our daughter who has lived here and used this clinic. Our Golden is our baby and they have provided great care. Our Mali is so skittish since having surgery at our Vet back in Ky, Yukon Hills has been compassionate and soothing her fear. The staff are wonderful, follow up phone calls and even suggesting a less costly test( which was cheaper and included EVERYTHING I requested done), just makes it a no brained to choose Yukon Hills!!

I've been taking my dog to Yukon Hills for about 8 years. We've always had a good experience here. I can usually get an appointment within a day or sometimes same day if ever necessary. All the veterinarians are very professional and knowledgeable and all the staff have always been great as well. I also feel that their services are reasonably priced. We recently adopted another dog and he will coming to Yukon Hills as well for all his vet care!

This is the most incompetent, uncaring vet I have ever encountered. I took an immobile dog in to see the vet. My dog had an appointment with Blue Pearl veterinary specialists the following Monday. They took us in and refused to have a dr see my dog. REFUSED. But made us pay for a doctor's visit. I had another doxie with a bad back. Posey Jr. came in and REFUSED to give my dog muscle relaxers or anti-inflammatory medication or pain medication. Said if he did the dog might think he's well and injure his back worse. His recommendation was a $13,000 surgery at O.S.U.!!! I said no and went

I love this vet! My dogs are like my babies and they have always taken care of them as if they were their own dogs. I've been to several vets over the years as I move around a lot for my job, and have never felt more welcome at a vet than at Yukon Hills Animal Hospital. They know everything about my dogs the moment I walk in the door including the front desk girls who always have a smile on their face. When I call all I have to do is say my name and they immediately know which dogs I'm calling about, what food they eat, and what meds they are on. Sometimes I don't even have

Vanessa is great. Kaycee seems to be a very unhappy employee. Very rude. Been there 23 years. Never will go back again. His prices are outrageous. 400 for spay. Got it down to 250. Grooming there sucks. Used to be great place. Will never go back. Found a great vet today. Yukon animal care clinic. Could have got my pup spayed for 85$ Posey is a rip off. Lost a long time customer. And I am not the only one. Several people I know are done with Posey

I don't want to leave a bad review for such a beautiful place, but it just wasn't a great experience. There was an older gentleman I assumed to be the vet that was warm and welcoming and he even made a remark about what a perfect breed example of a Labrador our dog is. Is always nice when someone knows what a true lab looks like and doesn't ask if he's mixed with pit. Which is what the vet tech we met next did. I told her that he was an English/British Labrador and she said "someone fooled you, I know dogs and he's mixed with pit". I just cocked my eyebrow and
