Whatever you do, do NOT work with this company. They are absolutely terrible. The staff is rude and they have been from the beginning. While you are trying to grieve a death the funeral home are supposed to make things run smoothly for you and your family. This funeral home did and is still doing the complete opposite. My father death took place in July and it is now November and they still don’t have the death certificate. Apparently they are claiming that someone already picked it up and we would have to order more if we wanted to ever get them. We paid for four death certificates. Now they

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. I was initially upset because I was told that someone would call me back but I had to do the calling. When I viewed my Mom's body, I was in awe. Calahan did a fantastic job. The day of the viewing, Molly was very caring and professional. Overall, I was pleased with the services for my Mom.

If I could give negative stars, I would. PLEASE do not allow them to service your family in your time of need. My mother passed in December 2019, service was held January 2020 and cremains were not available until the service. No follow up at all. Fast forward to February 2021, we have been trying to have her death certificate updated because of several errors and made countless phone calls. I have received no follow up regarding this matter unless I have reached out directly. I have constantly been met with nonchalance and a lack of empathy, not to mention I am given different answers on each

I had a great experience with Calahan Funeral Home! I wasn't able to be present at the funeral for my brother, so a link was provided to view the service virtually! I really liked being able to be connected and a part of the service even though I was many miles away, I could see and hear everyone clearly. The service was short, sweet and to the point, easy to connect and when it was all said and done, I was relieved to know I didn't miss my brother's funeral and impressed with how organized and timely everything was handled.

Calahan funeral service was very professional when it came to my father's service. I was very much grieving and he made sure my father's body looked great. He also made sure he had his Burial at the Veterans cemetary,even after we were told that wouldn't be possible. His office staff also made a beautiful DVD that I will always treasure.

I do not recommend using Calahan funeral home!! I was originally pleased with the services I received from Calahan’s, however that quickly changed. I received a call saying my father’s cremains had come back and were ready to be picked up. Then shortly after I received another call saying there had been an error and his cremains were not ready to… be picked up. My father’s urn had to be sent back after waiting a weeks to receive his cremains due to the lack of an employee of the company not entering the information to have his urn engraved. I also ordered two urn necklaces

Updated: 1/9/2019 I was highly pleased and content to receive a call in response to my concerns and was immediately reassured by the staff at Calahan. I truly appreciate your diligence and collaboration to resolve this quickly and efficiently. My mind is now at peace and I again feel the comfort that I have always known while getting through this difficult time. Amazing people of great integrity and character! They have serviced my family for over 23 years and we have always experienced professionalism, care, compassion, thoughtfulness and sound advice on managing the final affairs of our loved ones.
