Let's start with you. You have landed here, looking for therapy, because you want your life to change in some important ways. You might be looking for a lifeline for yourself or for your relationship. You want richer connection with others, more peace, more self-confidence, or more clarity. You want to stop overthinking and getting in your own way.

You want to act from a place of resilience rather than reactivity when life throws its inevitable curve balls. Or let's be honest- to just be able to cope when life downright sucks. My first qualification- I'm in the muck of being human with you and I've been through my own share of pain and growth.
Services
You might be here, considering counseling, because you are feeling overwhelmed, unstable, devastated, disillusioned or hopeless. You might feel like you have exhausted all your usual strategies for coping or you've noticed that your strategies for coping have somehow begun to actually make matters worse.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) are the two major treatment approaches with a strong evidence base for treating anxiety. I have expertise in combining these approaches along with other tools to provide lasting change for each individual client. I work with men and women at various points in their journey toward and through parenthood.
My office is located in the Cool Springs area of Brentwood, right off of I-65, with easy access to Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin. I also provide online therapy sessions for clients located anywhere in Illinois or Tennessee. Therapy is a process of exploring thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationship patterns.

Jenny is incredible at helping people get to where they want to be. She's goal oriented, effective, and yet incredibly kind and compassionate. She meets you where you are at, but helps you get to where you need to be. As a colleague, I highly recommend Jenny as a therapist, especially for professionals, new moms, or really anyone who is serious about making a change.
