Hallowell Funeral Home
Lakeview Funeral Home is committed to ensuring the safety of all our families, guests and staff. We are currently following guidelines issued by federal, state and local officials. At this time, we are limiting gatherings in the funeral home. As an essential service, funeral homes are still allowed to operate.

We are instructing our staff to discontinue handshaking and practice good hand hygiene. Please contact the funeral home by phone to discuss current funeral options. Thank you for your understanding and patience during this time. Whether you've just lost a loved one, are planning your own end-of-life care, or are continuing on your grief journey, we're here for you.
Services
It has been our privilege to serve Lakeview and the surrounding neighborhoods for generations. It is our commitment to preserve the dignity of your loved one while in our care as we assist your family throughout the services we provide. Ray Hallowell, his wife Kristine, Hiro Masumoto and the entire staff of Lakeview Funeral Home have a long history of Lakeview Funeral Home providing personal, compassionate service and attention to detail.
When you first begin the process of designing a funeral, the decisions you'll face might seem overwhelming at first. We're here to help you tackle the choices one by one and make the journey one of love, healing, and life celebration.

The process can be broken down into two stages: decisions regarding the service and how you'd like to honor your loved one's life, and decisions regarding how you'd like to care for your loved one's physical remains.Whether it's formal or informal, traditional or offbeat, a funeral provides an opportunity for family and friends to gather and support one another in taking the first steps of their healing journey.
Sometimes the thought of planning a funeral seems too difficult for those who've suffered a loss. We're here to help lighten your burden and remind you of the true value a ceremony can hold for you and your family. Coping with a loss is never easy, and services are an essential part of the recovery process.
Even the smallest touch can make a big difference in personalizing your funeral services. There's no right or wrong when it comes to celebrating your loved one and honoring their life, accomplishments, and individuality. Personalization isn't just about honoring your loved one's individuality. It also allows family and friends to feel connected to the services and the life being honored.
We're proud to do our part in honoring our country's veterans for their dedication and selfless service by giving back to those whose sacrifice and patriotism define our great nation. We would be honored to help you make arrangements for any combination of traditional military tributes because we believe it's our duty to provide you and your family with professional and dignified assistance during your time of need.

I had my mom service here last year in May. I have to say that this place has excellent service all the way around. They were all very polite, they treated me with respect and took the time to show me different options that would fit my budget. The guy in the office that took care of me was so kind and understanding. Even the guy sitting at the entrance was very kind. I needed an extra 50 cards at the last minute and with no hesitation, that prepared them in minutes. I definitely recommend this place. You will not regret it.

Called Lakeview funeral home to find out why they had not picked up my relative from the hospital, as scheduled the day before. They were in charge of transporting the body from hospital as well as preparing the body for transport to another funeral home abroad. Person on phone was rude and dismissive. Furthermore, their lack of speed in handling the situation caused a postponement of 3 days in funeral arrangements.

I hate to have to be able to write a review for such a place-meaning someone had to pass for me to experience such a place, but I am writing so that others that may be looking for a funeral home can get an idea of what Lakeview Funeral Home was like. The interior was clean and beautiful. The walls, lighting, ceiling, etc was lovely. It is somewhat narrow but long, so it's not ideal for a large wake, but it's ok for 80-100(my estimate).
There is a bathroom for each gentlemen/ladies that seemed to be clean. They had mints, water, and tissue boxes everywhere. They brought out more chairs

Thanks to Lakeview Funeral Home for their compassion and patience. I am so appreciative for their quick response and smooth handling of a difficult situation. Ray was so kind, thoughtful and comforting while we made arrangements, and I found the rest of his staff to be no different. He provided the most profound and sweet words of advice for dealing and healing, and even brought a smile to my face more than a few times. They made us all feel like family - loved, cared for and safe. Everything was beautiful. None of us worried about one aspect. Everything was handled for us and it was such

My family really appreciates Lakeview Funeral Home. About 8 years ago, a neighbor from church passed away. She didn't have any relatives and my mom and a few others from church really stepped in to make sure she could receive a proper Catholic burial. My mom worked with Lakeview Funeral Home and they were very gracious. They were also understanding of the situation and flexible about financing.

About 3 years ago my uncle passed away, and once again we contacted Lakeview Funeral Home. He passed away in the middle of the night and someone came right away (in the middle of the night) to

I just called the facility to obtain a death certificate for my deceased father. The male on the phone was quite snide. First impression does not lead me to entrust that they will handle any arrangements professionally or be empathetic to clients.

The staff at Lakeview Funeral Home really takes the time to understand you and your specific wishes. Planning for your own funeral isn't an easy task, but I found it to be a rather comforting experience once I started the process. The gentlemen I met with was more then understanding of my needs and gave a lot of helpful suggestions and material for me to consider. I wasn't pressured at all by my consultant. In the end, I felt reassured that I had help spare my family the stress of having to make some very difficult decisions after my passing and that gave me some peace. I highly recommend
